CHAPTER 5

Jimin was rushing to the park right after his art classes to meet the little girl again and give back her bracelet that he got from that night at the beach. But as soon as he neared to the entrance gate of the park, he took a glance at the cafe.

The cafe was closed and jimin had seen the cafe being open in the morning on his way to college. So it's obvious that the cafe was closed for afternoon and for a second he got a bit hopeless that he might not be seeing the girl again. But despite all his thoughts he continued sitting in the park for a couple of hours, taking in every single view that came across his eyes, feeding the cats again as if it's his responsibility passed by the girl to make sure her little companions are well fed.

Jimin has always been a kind and compassionate human being since a kid. And this very trait of his always dragged him into troubles ever since his schooling days. Jimin was always bullied by some so-called kid dons for being very chubby and cute and although he was annoyed and irritated, still never used his hands over them for any kind of violence. He always took it upon himself that he JUST started learning Taekwondo and kendo after his school hours. He didn't know how to fight back at that time so he kept silent whenever he get bullied until one day when he saw some of his classmates were literally bullying a new transferred student using physical violence.

Jimin was only in 6th grade and he only just started taking martial arts lessons, so he didn't know how to fight back at that time. But when he saw the kid started crying, jimin felt something sting in his heart. He saw himself in that kid and understood how hopeless that kid is at the moment. Jimin didn't know what to do at first. Should he run to call help from teachers, leaving the boy crying there and getting beaten up or should he run to the boy and help him? Jimin chose what his heart screamed to him and ran to the boy who was lying in the floor and hovered by 3 boys kicking and hitting him on his stomach. Jimin immediately pushed the bullies aside with his small body and layed on top of the boy in the floor showing his back to the angered bullies to kick. He covered the crying boy like a shield over him and took all the beatings from the bullies while tightly hugging the boy in the cold floor. Jimin was also crying but he chose not to make his voice come out so that he won't make the boy beneath him in panic. So instead he buried his head in the crook of the boys neck and started whispering 'it's fine'.

Suddenly a boy in the crowd started yelling and running for seeking help for the 2 boys being bullied. He went directly to the teachers room and informed them to come and help the boys. The teachers accompanied him to the area where they saw 2 boys getting beaten up by 3 other boys and teachers immediately pulled them apart from each other. The 3 boys were sent to the principal's office while the beaten up boys were taken to the school infirmary for treating their wounds. Although jimin often gets bullied verbally, he never had to come to the infirmary for any physical bullying until this day and he was also new to such environment. Both the boys had bruises across their body and the school nurses treated their wound, gave them some painkillers and asked them to rest. So, now the 2 boys are lying on their respective infirmary beds facing each other.
