CHAPTER 9

A week has been passed after the heartbreaking incident and Jimin kept his promise.He never once showed up in front of Diya.

The first two days of the week were very difficult for jungkook and his hyungs.

Diya refused to go to day care, declined meals and even barely spoke to them.Jungkook thought that Diya was just throwing a tantrum and eventually she will move on. But he was extremely wrong. She kept on being the same with them.

As time went by, jungkook somehow managed to get her back to the routine, to go to the daycare, to have regular meals. But that's it. He never once see her smile again like she used to or doing anything of her likes like drawing, which was one of her favourite hobbies.

Jin was really worried about Diya. He even suggested jungkook to call jimin for atleast once.

Jungkook wasn't ignorant to the suggestion. He honestly believed that by time Diya will move on from jimin and return back to her old self. Moreover, yoongi never backed up the suggestion as well.

And like every such time, it didn't take a long time for jungkook to get Diya asleep. She stopped asking her appa to sing her to sleep or read bed time stories ever since that day. Overall, she became a breathing robot in jungkook's eyes.

He is really worried about his daughter, who is now fast asleep in his bed hugging her favourite plushie close to her tightly.

Jungkook sighed for a millionth time the day seeing his own daughter being distant with him.

"you do know that he is innocent right?" Jin asked jungkook while peeking through the bedroom door.

Jin and Yoongi is staying in jungkook's apartment for a week now. They thought their presence whlould cheer up the girl, and moreover jungkook needed them.

Yoongi only visited their shared apartment twice the week just for getting some personal things from his studio.

"I... I don't know.." Jungkook replied to jin , looking anywhere but his hyung.

Jin just hummed in response while thinking...

"Damn... I never thought he is the same park jimin we loved for the vocals" He chuckled at the strange fact while looking back at jungkook. "If it wasn't for this situation, I am sure you would have asked him out" Jin winked at jungkook while laughing out loud, though careful enough not to wake diya up.

"what the hell hyung ?" Jungkook widened his eyes at what he just heard from his own hyung. He can't believe jin thought of them being together. Well not complaining, jimin is quite handsome and built, but that doesn't mean he will ask him out immediately. Moreover, he has had enough from relationships. So it's a big NO.

"why?.. What's wrong?" Jinasked with  a playful smile on his lips. "I don't think it's a bad idea. As far as I have seen, he did quite a good job in handling you. And diya like him too. So, I won't mind if you ask him out soon."

"woah.. Woah... Slow down hyung.." Jungkook was shocked to hear jins words.

Jungkook never dated after his past one which has been almost like 4 years now. He never had sex since then.... Diya was his priority and he was not up for any more one night stands, not that diya is also result of one. No its not that he was scared of another child, hell he was scared at the thought of being with someone else even for a short period of time, trusting them with his body. No. He can't trust anyone like that anymore.

But since jin already started the mission on teasing him, he is also not having any plan of losing either. So immediately his face turned into a challenging smirk.
