CHAPTER 21

The hallway was empty in the evening, when taehyung was told to accompany his best friend to his professor's room for finding out the result from the preliminary round of the art competition. Currently he is waiting outside the room, earphones tugged in with some retro music playing on.

The male hummed along with the vibe of the song as he patiently waited for his friend to join him. Its been fifteen minutes since jimin went inside to collect the result leaving his soulmate on his own.

Taehyung's head snapped to the direction of the door when he heard it clicked open. Jimin's figure came into view, approaching his friend with a clear frown as he let out a sigh in front of him.

"So?"

"I got selected" Jimin announced to his friend  about him being selected for the competition that has to be held within a few months. The male had his lips curled down showing a very evident frown as he nonchalantly responded, eyes still wandering at somewhere distant, drowning in deep thoughts.

"oh my god.... Really" A loud scream of cheers erupted from his friend's mouth as the male immediately pulled jimin into a cheerful hug. "Congrats Chim". Tae grinned widely for what he heard from his friend, but soon replaced with a worried expression as he noticed the lack of response from his friend. Its clear that jimin was not that excited like he was even though it was his achievement.

He sighed before pulling back a bit to look at the male directly since he knew what's wrong with him.

"Why don't you tell him?"

Tae asked with a suggestive look as he grew tired of seeing his friend dull and sulking for past two days. Its not like he was bored of his friend or something. Well No precisely.  But he wanted to see those eye crescents back to his friend like always used to see before.

Jimin heard those words and instantly knew what his friend was implying. He has been stressing out a lot recently on his unsaid feelings to a certain male ever since he comforted the said human during his mental breaks own. He has been sulking and whining a lot as the urge to hold the other closer to him grew even more than he could handle considering the circumstances. He liked the idea of having Jungkook close to his body, completely trusting him, despite hating the kind of situation they were actually in.

It was two days before jungkook had his mental breakdown infornt of the artist and exactly two days since he revealed his sexuality to the male. To think that Jimin is feeling ecstatic at the revelation wouldn't be any wrong, but what made him confused was the kind of look jungkook gave him at the moment.

It's not like jungkook disliked the idea of being homosexual or was having inner conflicts with his own preferences. And jimin could easily read those because the male's hyung himself is in a  well accepted same sex relationship at present. So it was clear that the male was not self disgusted  or dissapointed in himself,but it was panic . Extreme fear. But why?

Jimin had many lingering thoughts about the matter since that day, but never chose to bombard the male with his curiosities as he knew  jungkook was hurting deep inside. He was panicking from the whole Lisa-Diya situation.

He saw the male at his extreme vulnerability that he wished to kiss the male right then and there, claim him as his. But then again, will that be the right moment to confess?, because he know it will be nothing but an add on pressure to his existing ones.

The day jungkook revealed his sexuality, the male  fell asleep in the jimin's strong comforting arms, being tired from all the mental and physical exhaustion. Jin was informed by jimin to bring Diya later to her appa since he needed time to clean the mess made by jungkook.
