CHAPTER 10

After leaving namjoon in the hospital, tae and jimin went straight to the police station to know about the culprit.

When they got there, cops told them that the guy was planning to abduct Diya for blackmailing her family, but jungkook got in the way and to escape from the situation, he stabbed jungkook. Hurting him physically was not originally the plan.

The officials assured them that they will try their best to give maximum punishment for the culprit. Well, it is basically very easy, because they have all the needed evidences from the mall security cameras and jungkook's statement will be taken once he wake up from the anastasia. So, after signing some papers and providing their personal statements as witnesses, both of them left the station, but with something still lingering in jimin's mind.

Jimin was not fully fine with what he heard from the officials. Something didn't seem to sit well with his mind.

If the kidnapper didn't have any intention of hurting jungkook, and his only motive was to kidnap Diya, then he would have left Diya right at the moment he got into trouble. Keeping on fighting for the girl with jungkook will only slow down his escape and chances of getting caught will be high. But instead he chose to fight jungkook to have Diya with him.

Even when jimin blocked him, he didn't try to leave the girl right there to see any chance of escape. So, somewhere, jimin's mind told him that this was all planned or something else is behind all these which he can't see with his eyes clearly . Because, the fear he saw in the guy's eyes were telling a different story.

Now when he came to think of the situation, jimin realised why jungkook was behaving like that to his on their first meet. Seeing Diya taken away by a stranger guy terrified jimin completely, even when he only know the girl for a few weeks. So imagine the amount of fear jungkook might have felt when he realised that his own daughter kept lying to him for meeting a stranger. And technically speaking, jimin was a stranger to the family as well. The thought only made him to blame himself more than he already did.

Jimin was pulled out of his trance when tae stopped the car in front of their dorm. Without saying anything, he got out of the car and went straight to their dorm area, followed by his best friend right behind in complete silence.

Once he reached their section, he opened the main door and moved directly to get inside of his room. But before he could get there, tae grabbed his wrist and turned him around to face him.

When jimin finally decided to look up, he saw his friend staring right into his eyes, arms crossed across his chest, in a demanding attitude.

"care to explain now?"

Jimin sighed and looked down.

He knew he need to explain everything to his friend after what he witnessed today. Tae not even once bothered him about the incident till now and he know his friend is holding back a lot of questions about jungkook and Diya. And honestly, jimin didn't like the idea of keeping anything as a secret from his friend as well.

He just didn't want to bring up the painful incident again and hurt his friend along with his own aching heart. Moreover, he was trying hard to forget it and get over that memory, in which he was miserably failing.

Well fate had different plans for him and now he can't fight it  when tae clearly had an unpleasant encounter with those two. So, finally he nodded in agreement to explain what the whole hospital scene was about.

Jimin started explaining everything from the start. How he met the girl, how he bonded with her, kept meeting her in the park for a whole long week, the memories he had of her smiling, giggling, playing with him, the portrait he drawn, everything in detail. He also explained the incident that happened at the cafe when namjoon and him went there to meet jungkook and his cousins.
