CHAPTER 17

Jungkook woke up with a heavy groan as his head was throbbing in pain... His hands searched the bed to reach upto Diya when he felt the space  void of the girl..... His eyes shot open as the memories from last night hit him suddenly....

He sighed immediately realising his daughter is with his hyung in his apartment... But still he felt empty inside from her absence in the morning... Jungkook is very deeply attached to Diya that whenever she is not with him he finds it a bit difficult to digest that anxiety soon creeps within.... But this time he is well aware that she is with his hyung, safe and sound and its just that he is missing to have her in his arms like always...

He always preferred to have her close and never trusted anyone to handle her apart from his hyungs... And now he can see himself adding people into that list and it felt extremely strange yet right to him... He was never this welcoming to anyone for years now... Always had the defensive aura put forward... But now can see himself looseninh up a bit, having a bit of fun, smiling often....

But his mood soon changed when his thoughts diverted to a certain someone, well precisely to the conversation he had last night... He gasped in shock when he realized that he almost revealed everything to the man... Almost.....

Every single word he said played in his mind as if he is rewatching a movie... Saying that he shocked will be an understatement.... But what actually bothered or rather surprised him is the thought, why him?... Why Jimin?....

Why did jungkook let himself defenseless and willingly opening up to male... And specifically why jimin now?....

It's not like he still have doubts on jimin or something.... No, infact not a bit actually.... But that doesn't explain his action.. Being completely vulnerable and open infron of the male yet feeling extremely comfortable and safe.... How can he reveal something very personal like that to someone who is not his family..... The whole idea is very unlikely for the Jeon Jungkook of past five years....

He recollected the moments he cried in front of jimin and felt weak inside that now the male saw him in that embarrassing state, when he constantly tried to put a strong face every time..... He pulled his hair out of frustration, a deep groan escaping his mouth.... How can he be so careless and almost slipped something he shouldn't ever... He sighed in relief when he thought about the fact that jimin only know what  he said to him and not the real reason behind those tears.... And somehow it made him calm down a bit...

He is happy that he didn't make a mistake that he would have regretted deeply by now... But at the same time, ironically his heart felt content at the thought of jimin comforting him at the same time... Strange....

Now, when he thought about it, how did he end up in his bedroom?... He don't have any memory of him walking back to his bed himself last night...

Wait!... He immediately gasped, eyes widened when something crossed over his head.... Did, did jimin carry him in his hands back to his bed?

Woah, can this day be anymore alien to him....?
He felt his cheeks burning and his stomach churning up from the mere scene of jimin carrying him in in bridal style and tucking him in his bed like the same he did with Diya.... His blush grew deeper, when he felt himself go nervous at the thoughts like how will he face the male again after showing such a weak self to him, what should he tell hil when they meet, how should he behave around him now knowing how jimin lifted him in his arms.. Ugh.... His mind was going crazy that his brain practically prayed that he would never see the man again, while his heart internally wanted to be in the other's presence as well..and to his surprise he preferred the latter more... What the actual heck is he feeling..... He thought to himself multiple times....
