CHAPTER 12

Diya is taken to Hoseok's House when the daycare hours got over.Hoseok was previously informed by jin about the incidents, both diya's encounter with the stranger and jungkook's surgery as well. So, when he was asked if he could take Diya with him for a while, that they can plan the birthday surprise, he was more than happy to help them.

Hoseok watched Diya playing with one of her toys given by him. He could clearly see that the girl has been awfully silent for a long time now. Though he know that the guy named Park Jimin is the deal, still he is not aware of the intensity of their relation. So, he was wondering why Diya is acting this strange, which is unusual from her.

Hoseok called Diya to get her attention and asked her what is wrong. She just looked at him for a while like having something in her mind and after a while opened her mouth to speak up.

"who is a bad person hobi uncle?"

Diya finally asked something that has been disturbing her for a while now.

"Huh?"

Hoseok didn't know what going on through the girls mind. But as a teacher himself, he knows better than ignoring kid's curiosities.

"Um, A bad person is someone who hurt others" Hoseok replied and took her from the floor to sit her on his lap. Diya looked at Hoseok with curiosity filled eyes and he find it adorable as if she is taking everything in deeply.

"So, Diya baby is bad?"

Okay, now hobi is confused. How did his answer  made her think like that about herself?

"Huh? Who said that my Diya baby is bad?"  He asked her intently with a visible frown.

"Because, appa said that Diya baby hurt him"
She looked down while speaking in a very low voice, having a cute pout on her lips. Hoseok understood what the deal is now. He internally frowned that this now five year old has been through a lot from the start and now seeing her like this is not much to his liking.

"No. You are not bad sweetheart" He paused for a minute and lifted her face up to see clearly. Hobi moved some of her bangs from her forehead with his fingers and smiled to her.

"A bad person is someone who wish to see others getting hurt" He stood up from the couch and crouched down to meet the girls eyes level."Diya baby don't wish to see appa hurt right?" The girl immediately nodded her head. "you always make appa smile right?" She nods again in agreement.

"so you are not a bad baby"Hoseok pulled her up and swirled her in his arms. She gave a sweet smile in return which immediately made hobi proud of his achievement and he is happy to see her smile again.He puts her on the floor to play with the toys again. But when he turned around to walk to the kitchen he heard her murmuring something to herself.

"but chimmy uncle always made me smile too. "

Though her voice was just like a whisper, still he heard what she said. Hobi is now genuinely curious about who this person is, that managed to get into her heart this close.

Jimin is sitting in the same park, same bench with his canvas opened to sketch something. He has been here for half an hour now and yet hasn't made anything on the paper. He is just sitting there holding the painting brush in his hands as if he is waiting something to catch his eyes. But even his eyes are zoned out from the scene, since his mind is filled with memories of a little girl he used to meet regularly at the same place.

The only interruption to his robotic state was the call that he received from taehyung a few minutes back. Jimin was asked where exactly he is at the moment and he said that he is in the park for his project as the matter of fact. A few more minutes passed but he is still in the same position looking at the white canvas as if it holds the whole world in it.
