CHAPTER 14

Diya kept on hugging jimin from the moment she saw him outside the door. The male was on his crouched position to hug the girl as much. She was crying constantly on his shoulders that she even forgot about the others watching them.

Jimin has his shirt clutched now tightly by the girl's small chubby hands. And he was not in a better state either, since he himself couldn't hold back his tears when he finally saw his precious little one after a long time.

"Hey baby."

Jimin cooed at the girl who hept on sobbing between hiccups, hands rubbing smooth circles at her back to calm her down. "shh.Stop crying babydoll. I am here" He released a long breath that he didn't know he was holding till the moment.

Jungkook and jin were faintly crying holding onto each other. Jungkook even felt like an anxiety building up within when he saw the heartbreaking interaction. He quickly left the scene to take his medicine which was noticed by a pair of eyes at the moment itself, but kept a blank face, taking everything in to settle with his mind.

"ch-chimmy u-uncle?" A small yet raspy voice came out of her mouth.Jimin just hummed in response, eyes still shedding countless tears on hearing the girls voice again.

"pl-please don't l-leave me again ch-chimmy uncle."

The five year old stuttered while pleading to jimin, who had his hold on her tightened out of reflex, hearing the voice crack and the amount of pain the girl is going through. The moment was too much to handle for him that his own voice strained to come out. He was practically swallowing the lumps forming in his throat to not choke out a sob.

Tae and hosoek had their eyes widened on amusement, witnessing the interaction between jimin and Diya. While namjoon was smiling throughout, since he had seen the relationship between the duo before and he pretty much expected this. Yoongi still managed to keep a blank expression on his face, though deep inside he was also shedding silent tears to see his favorite niece breaking down like this.

"I-I won't... I won't leave you ever again" Jimin replied to the girl. He wasted no second in scooping her body and lifting her up in his arms.

Soon jungkook also joined them in the room after having his medication.

Tears soon turned into cute giggles when jimin kept kissing her forehead, cheeks and nose, which instantly warmed his heart and made him sigh in feeling content .All the other males were really happy to see a genuine smile back on the girl's face again.

Crying and comforting each other for a while, both of them were brought back to the party by taehyung, when he urged Diya to cut her birthday cake.

As instructed she cut the cake prepared by her jinnie uncle, with the help of her father. After having a piece of cake from her father, she soon returned to jimin's side demanding him to lift her up.And her wish was immediately granted by the said male gladly.

Hosoek watched every single scene in pure awe. He knew Diya really liked jimin, but not to this extend.The kind of affection the girl is showing to jimin by not willing to be away from him, not even for a second is adorable and amusing at the same time. And he could clearly see that the male adore her as much as well. Jimin not once left his eyes from Diya.

"So, you are Park Jimin?"

Hoseok asked jimin, who had his eyes focussed on Diya playing with the collar of his shirt. He turned his face to look up to the man,

"Um... Yes... Do you know me?"

"oh bro... You have no idea".. Hoseok chuckled and patted jimin's shoulder. "Diya missed you terribly.." He smiled at jimin."And I can see why?"
