Hana's POV:
"Where were you?" I asked Arthur when we met up in Herbs class.
"I'll have to tell you later, Hana, this is literally the middle of the lesson," Arthur hissed. "Alright, but I do expect an explanation," I told him. Arthur nodded.
Ms. Hen was going over basic herbs in Daphtus. She explained about different plants and flowers including their nectar which some I already knew. The newer stuff was the leaves and non flowering plants.
Before I knew it, I was walking back to the greenhouse with Arthur, Kay and Samuel. Arthur told us that Heroid had used fire magic and gotten almost completely out of control. I told them about Magix class.
"Maybe he was meditating after using that blast," Kay suggested. "Yeah, that could be it. I haven't really taken Meditation yet though," I said.
"It's boring if you're sporty," Samuel grumbled.
"Well, then I guess I'll enjoy Meditation."
"Guys, there's something I want to ask you all," Arthur said. We all turned to him. "Samuel, you didn't call that fire draggon and can't even control it, right?" Arthur asked looking at my twin brother.
"Yea."
"Then who called it?" Arthur asked.
"You wanna know my hunch? Joanna and Heroid. I bet it's them. According to what you two said they said at the archives and outside, it's likely that it's them," Kay said. "Yeah, but they both seem so innocent-"
"Hana, that's an easy tactic to throw off the suspicion. It might be them, but we still gotta keep an open mind. We're not sure about this yet," Kay said.
"So we're done here?" Samuel asked. "I guess so. I'll go tell everything to Amelia. The three of you should do any assignment given or get some rest or train, whatever, I don't really care," Kay said waving her hand, dismissing the thought.
"I'm gonna train. See you guys later," Samuel said going down the steps of the greenhouse.
"Herbs. I'm doing the homework now," I said taking out my notebook and a pen. "I've finished mine. I'm heading to the library," Arthur said kissing my forehead before leaving. "Stay safe, Hana," Kay said and I nodded, watching her leave the greenhouse.
Ms. Hen is an excellent artist. She drew what the herbs looked like in a matter of seconds. I recognized some of the leaves and petals from the greenhouse.
One of the flowers was the foxglove. Arthur ever told me that foxgloves in other worlds are a lot less poisonous. The foxglove at Daphtus is dangerous, I speak from experience, that was how I first met Arthur.
Luckily, we were actually allowed to search it up rather than examine it face to face, but where's the fun in that?
As long as I don't inhale the pollen or touch it, I'll be fine.
***
Before I knew it, a few hours has passed and my Herbs assignment was complete. I don't think anyone else would've done this, to be honest. Searching it online would've been a lot more simpler.
I didn't realize I had the comms unit in my ear. There was no sound coming from it and I didn't activate it.
I took it out of my ear and sighed. I placed my notebook and pen back inside my bag before staring up at the sky and thinking about what happened today.
Could it be Joanna and Heroid? It does sound logical enough.
I felt the comms unit vibrate. I placed it back in my ear and heard Amelia's voice, "Does anyone else see anything suspicious?"
