Arthur's POV:

"Okay, nope, we are NOT playing again," Evan complained as Kay laughed evilly. "I think it's best that we never play Monopoly ever again," Cass complained picking up the Monopoly box and throwing it outside on the balcony and brushing her hands like saying, "My work here is done."

"Maybe we should try a different board game," Ana suggested. Connor yawned and I checked the time to see it was already 11pm.

"Are we really going to stay up all night?" I asked everyone who looked at me weird. "Of course we are. What ever made you think we aren't?" Samuel asked. I yawned. "Sleep? Re-Entrance Ceremony? 8am tomorrow?"

"Sometimes I understand why Hana is in love with you. Goody two shoes," Samuel muttered that last part, but we could all still hear him clearly.

"Hana's a goody two shoes? Really?" Ana asked. "Oh, what did she do?" Samuel sighed. "Well, technically, we all skipped a week of school to go of and save you," Cass said putting on a light grey cardigan.

"But what did my sis do?" Sam asked. "She consumed alcohol-"

"By accident!"

"Almost started a forest fire-"

"That was by accident too!"

"Brought a draggon in as a pet-"

"The school allowed it!"

"You know what, I give up, Hana's a goody two shoes, whatever," Kay said dismissing the conversation with a wave of her hand.

"Guys!" Ana suddenly exclaimed, her phone in her hand, as she shot up from her seat. "What is it?" Cass asked cleaning the lenses of her glasses.

"I just got a text in the grade group chat-"

"Wait, our grade as a group chat?" I asked. "Arthur, for an info broker, you're pretty outdated on a lot of things," Connor commented sleepily. I glared at him.

Ana cleared her throat obviously stating that she's annoyed. "That the entrance ceremony might get postponed," she finished. "What do you mean postponed?" Kay asked scrolling through what I can only assume is the group chat.

"Someone predicted that something bad will happen tomorrow at around entrance ceremony time," Ana replied. "And who is this person that predicted it?" Kay asked still scrolling through the messages.

Ana shrugged.

"Wait, how can you seriously not know who sent the text?" Cass asked looking at Ana's phone screen. "IDK, who do you think this even is? The name only shows that uwu thing," Ana said showing it to Cass.

"Uwu."

"Yes, Uwu."

I sighed tiredly.

"Do you feel that?" Evan suddenly asked. I tried to sense my surroundings. I couldn't tell if the slight movement I felt was from me or if it was from external forces.

"What?" Ana asked.

"I don't feel anything," Cass said.

"There's definitely something outside, I know it," Evan said. Silently, Connor filled up a glass of water from Bea's squirts and placed it on the ground.

Smart little guy.

"Is it moving?" Kay asked as she shifted her position so that she can see the cup. "It's moving alright," I confirmed. Then I realized that I didn't have to announce it. Everybody felt the earthquake. There were even shock waves after the impact.

We ran out the door as everyone else did as well. There were some people who looked tired and were in their pajamas. Some looked like they had just came back from a long night like we did.

"What happened?" someone asked as Hana walked over to us. I could read the look in her eyes and she was asking the same question. "We don't know either," I replied.

Hana and I looked at my sister. "Come on," she mouthed as she took off down the hallway. Our group followed her.

"I got a report saying that it's from here," Amelia told us as she lead us to the direction of the shock.

"Do you know what might have caused it?" Cass asked her. Amelia didn't reply instantly and her look was faraway. "There're a lot of things that may have caused an earthquake followed by an explosion. Even Hana or Samuel can cause that."

"What?!" both twins exclaimed.

"Seriously, both of you are the master of magic and the creatures communicator. You can both cause a shock wave even stronger than that," Amelia said as she pushed some bushes out of her way.

"Here."

There was a large crater in the clearing. Thankfully, this part near the dorm is still a forest. Flames danced in the moonlight all around the area.

"What-"

"It looks like something big crashed here. About the size of a teenage draggon," Samuel said still looking at the curve. "Can you sense if that draggon is still around?" Kay asked him, but Samuel shook his head. If I could, I'd already know since earlier. But there's nothing," he replied.

"Hana, can you feel anything? Maybe ask the earth?" I asked making eye contact with her. Hana balled her fists. I tried to read what she was thinking. It was hard, but I finally understood that she was concentrating.

"Hana?"

"Y-Yeah? Sorry, what was that?" she asked me with a smile.

Everyone noticed it. "What were you doing, Hana?" Amelia asked.

"I-I was just standing here," she replied but Hana has a hard time lying on the spot. "Did you see something?" Ana asked her.

Hana was silent. "I used the Revelio spell," she looked at Amelia guiltily. "You saw the past?!" Amelia exclaimed and Kay also shot up from a squatting position.

"I-I think. Something big did crash here. I-It was red and there was fire. Magic fire," Hana said and walked to a nearby flame. She easily put her hand through it and held a flame on the palm of her hand. "Magic fire," she repeated.

Everyone looked at Amelia. Her face was serious. She was thinking hard.

"I'll have to discuss this with the council. You all get some rest. Hana, do read the book in your free time. You might need it sooner than you may think," Amelia said as all of us nodded and went back into our dorm rooms.

***

"Sam, how'd you know it was a teenage draggon?" I asked him as he stared off into space.

"Samuel?"

"It was just a feeling. I'm not even sure it's right," he said looking at me. "I wasn't able to tell that a draggon was nearby. That shouldn't be likely," Samuel said. "Something bad is definitely going on," Evan added. "Duh. Now can we sleep? I'm exhausted," Connor muttered.

I switched off the lights and climbed onto the lower bunk. I had a feeling that Hana was hiding something from us.

I shut my eyes and slowly fell asleep.
