Hana's POV:

Hana.

Is it you again?

"Hana!"

"Wah!" I exclaimed as Joanna suddenly appeared in front of me.

"Sorry, sorry, but well," she fiddled with her hoodie strings.

I sighed. "No worries. What's up that you have to come so soon? And how did you know where I was?"

"Oh, well, um, I- uh. Spell. Teleportation and tracking. Yeah," Joanna stammered.

I nodded, "So, what's up?"

"I saw something in the fountain. Um, it told me to go South," Joanna said. "Why?" I asked as she took a seat on the floor.

"I-I'm not entirely sure, but it said that I can finally understand my powers there," Joanna told me. "Who's 'it'?"

"A voice. It was a man's voice. I didn't recognize it at all," Joanna said.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you to never follow someone you don't know?" I asked. "I know, but there was something strange about this voice. I felt...drawn to it," Joanna said.

"Look, I've encountered some strange things lately, but I have never heard a man's voice calling me out into the unknown," I told her, "I just have a bad feeling about it."

"Yes, but I want to understand my powers and actually be able to control them. The school doesn't exactly teach how to control ancestral beings popping into your body every now and then," Joanna said.

"True."

"Do you think I should go?" Joanna asked. "Joanna, you sound so excited and determined a few seconds ago."

Joanna chuckled. "I know, but that's why I'm here, I need your opinion," she replied. I thought for a while. It could be a trap, it could be a real calling.

"I think you should go. That's my raw opinion. If you talk it out with Arthur or Amelia or anyone for that matter, I think they'd tell you to stay. But I say you should go," I told her.

"When do I leave?" Joanna asked. I sensed the fear in her voice. It's pretty surprising considering she had lived in dangerous environments.

"Whenever you're ready. Just bring at least someone with you," I told her.

"Is this illegal?" she asked.

"High chance, yes, yet I did it a month ago. But keep in mind, I will tell Arthur, Amelia, and probably a few other people I trust about your adventure," I told Joanna who nodded. "It's okay. I'm just not sure I'm prepared for this kind of thing," she said.

"When you think about it, barely anyone is on their first time," I said and started for the stairs. "Good luck, and stay safe," I told her before descending the steps.

"Hana," Joanna called when I reached the second floor. "Yes?" I asked turning around to see her sit on one of the steps. "Should I tell Heroid about this? I don't want to make him worry," Joanna said.

"Friends are there to help you out. You don't need to be too worried about putting a little bit of load on them. Heck, if he found out, I bet he'll insist on going with you anyways," I told her.

"He just went through a lot in his life. I'm not sure if he wants to go through more," Joanna said. I nodded in understanding. "I'm sure he'll watch your back no matter what. If you'll excuse me, I have to go now," I told her.

"O-Okay, thanks, Hana," Joanna said. I nodded and smiled at her before running down the last set of stairs and out of the greenhouse.

I dashed for the dormitories, which was hard since there were a lot of people and I can't exactly risk making them suspicious of anything. And besides, my energy was depleted from running to the fountain and the greenhouse. Even Lumina's visit drained my stamina.
