Chapter 10 - Clicked

Arthur's POV:

"Joanna?" Kay repeated. 

"Yes, Troy, this is indeed her body," Sarah the Succubus said removing her mask to reveal the girl who had been with Heroid earlier.

"What did you do to her?!" Heroid screamed. "Dear, I said that she's like a vessel. Perfect for inflicting chaos with on this world," Sarah said, batting her eyelashes. 

"Why her?!" Heroid screamed again. 

"She's special, Troy. Now," Sarah made an expression that looked like she was pushing. I didn't understand at first, until I finally realized what she was doing.

The moonlight shined on her body. And that was exactly what she needed to do what she wanted to do. A ghostly glow separated itself from Joanna's body and stepped into the real world, gaining color every second she was there, while the body turned pale and fell on the floor. 

"Now, THIS is the real me!" Sarah exclaimed in delight. She had beautiful blonde locks and stunning red eyes. She was wearing a red bodysuit that showed off her arms and thighs. Devil-like wings sprouted from her back and red horns grew on her scalp. She was holding a red mace with an orange jewel floating at it's end. 

"Joanna!" Heroid yelled and ran to her side, completely ignoring the monster right next to him. 

"Heroid!" Kay called, but it was too late. Sarah pointed the end of her mace to Heroid and smiled evilly. 

"Perish!" she hissed before firing a red blast at him. 

But instead of hitting Heroid and him perishing like Sarah had intended, the blast bounced back, hitting her instead. 

"Ugh!" Sarah grunted and staggered back. 

"Heroid, get Connor and Joanna away from here. Kay and I will handle this," I told Heroid who was still dazed, but he soon recovered and did his best to get them to safety. 

"Amelia. We found her. School cafeteria," Kay said into her earpiece. "On it!"

Sarah soon regained stability. Her red eyes glowed dangerously. "Child of the Draggon!" she hissed and pointed at Heroid. 

What?

"This isn't over! I will be back!" Sarah screamed as her mace glowed with bright light. Kay threw her knife at Sarah, but it clattered harmlessly on the floor. 

"She's gone!" Kay screamed in anger as she went to retrieve her knife. 

Amelia and everyone else came over. "Where is she?" Amelia asked. Everyone already had weapons wielded, but there was no enemy. 

I picked up the mask she was wearing when she was still disguised as Joanna. "She ran away but left this," I gave the mask to Amelia who took it and examined it. 

"I don't recognize this. Best hand it over to the Legion for a closer examine. Good job everyone-"

"It's not a good job! She got away!" Kay exclaimed angrily. "Kay, we can't track her down unless this mask belongs to her," Amelia said, trying her best to reassure Kay.

"Look, girl, when we see that Succubus again, we can kick her pretty ass," Rennea said giving Kay a fist bump to which she accept. 

"You guys can go rest and check on Hana, Samuel, Cass and Evan. Ren and I will go report what has happened," Amelia said, "Arthur, you're coming with me."

"And you are certain that is what happened?" the Boss asked. "Yes, sir," I replied. 

I had just finished telling the story. I'm not sure how much information there is on Succubus. We mostly only know what we have seen or those from the myths.
