"Come on we have to be out by 11." It was currently 10:50 an we had to be out the hotel in 10 minutes. "come on Luke...Hurry!" I rushed checking the room for any bits we dropped. everyone else was out the room waiting downstairs for us. i picked up Amelia and left leaving Luke running behind me.
"thanks for waiting." he said sarcastically.
"you shouldve been quicker then." i smiled as he walked next to me taking a heavy Amelia off me.
"Can we watch a movie tonight?" He asked excitedly. i laughed.
"You really that excited over a movie?" I replied. he nodded.
"Okay,as long as i get to choose." i smirked.
*at home that night*
Me and Luke were upstairs watching TV because the others were out in town for dinner. we decided we should stay in because 1) we had Amelia and 2) we cant be bothered.
"Im glad my mum and dad chucked me out." i said randomly.
"Why?" Luke replied confused.
"Because if they didn't then i wouldn't have met you." I never thought of it in that way before. i always thought the worst but if you look at it fully, it was actually better. now Amelia will have a dad and 3 uncles. Much better if you ask me.
"I suppose so." Luke laughed. I layed my head on his chest with his arms wrapped around me.
"Thank you." i say quietly.
"For what?" He replied obviously confused.
"For looking after me, for helping with Amelia. You didn't have to do that." I said.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." He said kissing my forehead. "I love you." he mumbled into my hair.
"I love you too." i whispered back. We were interrupted by the house phone ringing. "Ill get it." i said walking over to the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello is that Charlotte Brooks?" She replied.
"Yeah it is..." i said. who would call me at 9pm on a sunday night?
"Im really sorry to inform you that your father has been admitted to hospital after a car accident." what?!
"Wait what? Is he okay?" I said worriedly. even though we don't get on anymore, i couldn't bare loosing him.
"He is stable for the moment. But we advise you come down here and answer some questions." wait...where was my mum?
"Wheres my mum?" I asked.
"Im not sure, a lady called Sarah came in with your father but no one else." who's sarah?
"Ill be down soon." i said before hanging up.i could feel a tear rolling down my cheek but i quickly wiped it away before returning to Luke.
"We have to go to the hospital. my fathers been in an accident. ill pack a bag for Amelia so she can stay with me the night, can you-" i was cut off by Luke.
"Me and the boys will look after her...we can bring her up there now but ill take her home after yeah?" I nodded quickly grabbing my phone. then we left. i just hope hes okay...
