When Endeavor and All Might had brought the food back over to their table, Hawks couldn't bring himself to walk over to fill his drink.
Dabi had kissed his forehead before going over and filling both their cups.
When he returned, he growled, glaring at Endeavor who was sitting on the seat two over from the winged man, making it so Dabi would have to sit between them.
Hawks leaned against his boyfriend as he took a sip of his drink.
Sweet crisp lemonade cooled his senses, washing the dryness from his mouth.
He wasn't sure what had gotten into him. Was this what it was like for normal people when they went flying?
Just as he was about to eat a chicken nugget, he looked up, his eyes locking on an all too familiar face.
He dropped the nugget, letting it fall to the ground.
"Twice?"

...

Dabi froze, his heart skipping a beat. His bird was staring straight ahead with wide eyes.
Did he really just say...?
The villain glanced around, finding nothing. There were a few other people around them, some giving him weird stares, but there was certainly no Twice.
He felt a spark of anger ignite in his heart.
If Hawks hadn't been a liar then Jin would still-
No.
No...
He couldn't get mad.
The hero had done what he had to.
Dabi took a deep breath. He wasn't going to lose his temper over nothing. If he did, that would make him just like his father.
Hawks was probably struggling with the weight of everything on his shoulders, that's all.
The villain took his hand, squeezing it tight.
"It's okay, Feathers. There's no one there," he whispered low enough that only Hawks would hear.
He looked up at him with wide, glistening golden eyes.
"T- Dabi, im-"
"I know." He wrapped an arm around him, holding him close. "I know."

...

Izuku shifted in his seat. He was sitting across from Dabi and Hawks.
The winged hero kept glancing past the young boy, frantically searching for something it seemed.
The villain was holding the hero tight, mumbling in his ear about something or other.
Izuku tried to focus on his burger, not wanting to upset the dark haired man into wanting to kill him.
As if his thoughts had been heard, sharp azure shot up at him, narrowed and watching like a hungry shark.
Before he could say anything, a brown haired girl over by the drinking fountain screamed.
Izuku jumped to his feet. "What's the problem ma'am?"
She looked at him with wide eyes, tears streaming down her face. "Oh, sorry. There's no emergency. I- I just got caught up listening to music. Damn Alexander letting Phillip-"
The green haired boy took his seat once more.
Americans sure were odd.
He was just glad he had learned English.

...

Hawks leaned on Dabi as they made their way to the car.
"Are we there yet?"
"Almost, Birdie."
His headache was starting to clear up but his stomach felt like it was trying to eat itself from the inside.
He let out a groan, his vision blackening at the edges.
Eventually they all made it, everyone figuring out who would sit where.
"I would say I need the front seat because I might puke in the back," Dabi was saying, "but Feathers here probably needs it more."
The small hero shook his head, gripping the villain's shirt. "Please don't make me sit up there without you."
With that, All Might took the front, apologizing in advance to the driver.
Finger breaking kid piled into the very back with Endeavor, who seemed a bit smashed back there.
Finally, Hawks and Dabi took the middle row, the hero laying his head on the other's lap.
It was like magic, he was starting to feel better.
Maybe America wouldn't be so bad after all!

And that's when the driver kicked on his music on shuffle.

Hawks watched through half lidded eyes as the driver started singing along without a care in the world.

"EVERYONE GIVE IT UP FOR AMERICA'S FAVORITE FIGHTING FRENCH MAN!"

The most shocking thing however, was when the green haired kid from the back jumped in his seat, joining in.

"LAFAYETTE!"

How does he even know this American shit?

Dabi looked down at him with a quirked brow. "What the fuck are they saying?"
Hawks choked back a laugh, sitting up to get a better look at him. "You're teasing, right?"
The villain had a dead serious look on his face.
Oh shit.
"Dabi, do you not know any English?"
Dabi's cheeks went pink. "No."
All of the Japanese crew burst out laughing, only making the villain even more embarrassed.
Hawks patted his shoulder. "Oh, I can teach you some helpful phrases."
Endeavor patted the winged man's shoulder with a sharp glare before speaking in English, "If you teach my son that anything having to do with 'pussy destroying' or 'deep throating' is asking for help or some shit, I will personally see to it that you are grounded."
"I'm a grown man! You can't ground me!"

...

Shigaraki shivered against the cold bite of the wind and he clambered up the secret hospital's steps.
He hated leaving his team- no- his family like this, but it had to be done.
The plan at the mansion had failed miserably- this was there last hope at ever being able to create the future they wanted.
He walked down a long, dimly lit corridor, his footsteps echoing back at him tauntingly.
What does master have in store for me with this mission?
Could it be that my time has come?
Shigaraki came to a halt in front of a metal door. Knocking three times, he took a deep breath.
He had this.
He could do it.
The door screeched back, revealing a short man with green goggles and a bushy mustache.

"Ah, Tenko, welcome. It is time."
