When they made it to their hotel, the team had realized they had two rooms, and began quickly discussing who would be with who.
Dabi had argued that he and Hawks should get their own room, but Endeavor had pointed out that each room had two beds and if they went with that arrangement, it'd be shit.
"Why would it be shit?"
"Because either me and All Might would have to spoon, or me and Izuku, or Izuku and All Might and that isn't happening!"
Dabi had rolled his eyes.
"Alright, me and Dabi will share a bed-" Hawks started but got cut off by Endeavor once more.
"Hell no."
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to hear you two moaning all night from five feet away."
The villain let out a soft growl. "Just because we're together doesn't mean we can't keep our hands of each other."
This was starting to piss him off and he was about ready to throw a fire ball at his father when broccoli kid stepped up sheepishly. "Can we please just go to our rooms? I'm tired and I really need to pee."
Hawks let out a sharp laugh. "You're gonna have to go in the lobby bathroom. We gotta give these rooms a thorough check before we just plop down and call it a day."
The boy groaned. "Where's the bathroom?"
Dabi chimed in now, "I'll take you."
Everyone looked at him for a moment, making his skin crawl.
"What? I'm not gonna rape him! I'm trying to be nice for once in my damn life."
All Might leaned close to the boy's ear, whispering in English, "If he tries anything, send me a text."
Dabi kept a straight face despite the annoyance flickering in his chest.
Sure he had said he didn't understand English, bit that was a lie. He just didn't want to have to socialize with any Americans.
Not that there was anything wrong with them, just he needed to focus on his mission.
The mission from Shigaraki.
He thrust his hands into his pockets, hissing as a staple caught on the way in.
No matter.
It was fine.
He didn't look back to see if the kid was following, just backtracked down the halls until he found the lobby again. Ignoring the glare from the desk manager, he waltzed into the bathroom.
"Fuck," he mumbled.
Almost all the urinals were taken, and every stall was full too.
He let out an exasperated sigh, as he walked over to the one farthest down the wall.
At least there were two.
Dabi cast a glance over to the green haired boy, who was standing awkwardly by the doorway.
He whistled like he was calling a dog as he unbuckled his belt. "Come on kid, I thought you said you have to go."
Fuck I hate this.
Broccoli kid hesitantly approached, stepping up to the urinal beside him, separating him and the strange man at the next one over.
"Wait-"
The boy looked over at him, jumping slightly. "What?"
"Trade me."
The kid looked confused but did as he was asked.
Truth be told, Dabi didn't like the vibes he was getting from the stranger and didn't want to leave the kid beside him.
Now that they were both situated, he unzipped his pants.
His cheeks burned a bit as he had the distinct feeling of being watched.
This is exactly why I always use the stalls.
After zipping himself back up and struggling with his belt, he made his way over to the sink.
As he scrubbed the bubbles off his hands, he spared a tiny glance up in the mirror. That tiny glance however was more than enough of a warning for what was about to come....
Hawks plopped down on the bed with a sigh.
He and Endeavor had made quick work of searching the room for any sort of camera, recording device, or potential threats. All had been fine, and All Might had said his room was clear to.
The mattress sunk under him, making his eyelids feel even heavier.
He glanced around.
The room was a decent size- the commission had certainly made sure they were comfy.
The two beds had a good six feet between them, the floors were a dark oak with a bold coloring. The walls were a light beige that matched the bathroom towels.
And to top it off, there was a wide balcony just off the room.
The mini kitchen was nice too, but the balcony was all the winged hero could care about.
"What do you think is taking them so long?"
Hawks looked over at the sudden break of silence. Endeavor was standing beside his bed, a concerned look on his face.
"I don't know. Maybe the kid decided he needed to do more than pee?"
The bigger man shook his head. "His name is Izuku- Izuku Midoriya- and that can't be it. They've been gone for twenty minutes."
Had it really been that long already?
"It's a big hotel. Maybe they got lost?"
"They would've texted or called."
"Phone could've died."
"Would you take this seriously?"
Hawks bit his lip.
What was with Endeavor?
Why was he so uppity about this whole thing?
They'd be back any second.
Still..
"Here, Endeavor-san, I'll call Dabi and see what's up."
He pulled out his phone, pinpointing the contact before pressing talk....
Dabi acted like he hadn't seen anything, calming continuing to wash his hands.
Time move in slow motion as he spun around, grasping the fist that had swung at him.
He was met by the angry glare of a blue skinned man.
"I knew I didn't like you when I noticed you staring at my dick," Dabi said, kicking the man in the stomach.
The man stumbled back, slipping onto the floor.
As soon as he was down, another man swung, this one connecting with Dabi's nose.
He stumbled back, his head pounding. Thick, warm blood, dripped down him, staining his white shirt.
He clicked his tongue. "Shouldn't have fucked around with me, buddy."
He faked out a punch to the right, sneaking an uppercut with his left fist, coated in blue flame.
His phone began vibrating in his pocket.
Broccoli kid was staring at him in awe.
Dabi answered his phone as he ducked, narrowly avoiding another blow.
"Yellow? Sexy bastard criminal speaking."
A sigh came from the other end, followed by a familiar voice.
"Dabi, where are you two?"
He grunted, taking a punch to the ribs. "Bathroom-"
"What's taking so lo-"
He dropped his phone.
The man tried to jump on him from behind but the villain was ready.
He grabbed the man's arm, bending over as he flung him across the room, shattering a urinal.
Dabi picked his phone back up, holding to his ear as he snatched broccoli by the wrist, dragging him along. "Sorry, what were you saying, Kei?"
There was a sigh from the other line. "You better not have gotten into a fight."
Well shit.
