When Hawks woke up, he was sore all over.
He sat up slowly, clasping a hand to his pounding head.
Damn this is a firm mattress.
After a moment, he blinked his heavy eyelids against bright golden sunlight.
Despite that, he was freezing.
He looked around, finding himself on the balcony.
Cars zoomed by several floors below, nothing more than blurs of color between the railing bars.
The hero stood slowly, stretching until he shook.
After popping his tight joints, he turned to look in the sliding glass door.
Dabi was curled up in the nearest bed, his black hair a poofy mess.
The blankets were all around him, shoved to the side.
Endeavor was in the other bed, facing the wall. His breathing was shallow and slow- he was still asleep.
Hawks tried to slide the door open, but it didn't move.
He tried again.
No luck.
He glanced back at the sky. The sun was only just rising, not providing much heat.
The hero stared back through the glass for a long moment, carefully studying Dabi's still form. Just as he was about to give up, he saw the ghost of a smile on the dark haired man's lips.
Hawks knocked on the glass. "Open up, asshole!"
Dabi's face quickly went blank again.
What a bitch.
The hero knocked louder. "Open it!"
Still nothing.
He let out a long, pained sigh.
True, he could stay out here and keep his pride- but did he want to stay out here in his sweaty clothes in the cold?
No- no he did not.
He tapped the glass more gently. "Don't make me beg for it. I just want in the room."
Dabi perked up at his soft tone, opening one eyes to glare.
He swung out of the bed and walked over, taking a moment to unclasp the lock.
Hawks immediately shoved it aside, practically barreling into the man. He hugged him tight, clinging to his warmth.
"Thank you! You're my hero."
The former villain dragged him along, pulling him down into bed.
Hawks looked down at Dabi, laying on top of him. Were his cheeks pink?
We're on break right now- don't do anything.
He held still, not wanting to make Touya upset with him again.
Was the other man thinking of how he'd killed Twice?
The image of a smiling Jin was quickly overrun by that of him sobbing on the floor, begging for mercy.
Hawks burried his face in Dabi's neck, trying to drown out the memories that haunted him like ghosts. "Tou- Dabi, I'm sorry."
A hand brushed along the hero's spine gently, sending shivers through his body. "I know, Feathers."

...

I don't know what's happening anymore.
Is this what you intended for me?
I keep seeing faces but they turn to dust before I can fully recognize them.
I don't understand.
Why did you send me here?

...

Enji woke up to the blinding brilliance of golden sunlight stabbing through his eyelids.
He glanced around, finding himself in the hotel room.
Hawks was straddling Dabi and they were making out in their bed.
Not gonna sit here for this-
He jumped out of bed, smiling big as the two lovers jumped, springing apart.
"Good morning, kids! Who wants breakfast?"
Dabi, who was trying to cross his legs in a hurried panic, shot him a glare. "We're not kids."
"Yet somehow you think crossing your legs can hide that obvious boner."
That comment earned a low growl.
Enji simply smiled, taking a change of clothes to the bathroom.
He took a moment to stare at his scar in the mirror. He supposed it wasn't too bad when compared to his kids' scars or even Hawks's own burnt face, but it still bothered him.
He quickly got dressed and brushed his teeth, walking back into the main bedroom.
"Okay, you two get ready and then we'll go with All Might and Midoriya to get breakfast."
Hawks quickly shot into the bathroom, Dabi chasing him.
Oh to be young and in love.

...

Hawks pressed himself against the door, desperately trying to hold it shut as Dabi pushed from the other side.
"Open up, chicken wings! I gotta shower before breakfast and you always take forever!"
He was about to respond when the door flew open, making him stumble back. "What the hell, crispy?"
Dabi laughed sharply.
"Get out. I'm going first."
He snapped his fingers, pointing back into the main room.
Hawks folded his arms, standing his ground. "I made it in here first, I get to shower first."
Dabi stepped up, making the hero shrink back.
He felt his wing hit the wall and he knew- he was fucked.
The scarred man boxed him in with an arm on either side of his head. "How 'bout a little deal, Feathers?"
"What kind of deal?"
"We take a shower together." He leaned in, tauntingly close, his lips brushing the hero's as he spoke in a low voice. "No touching. Just you and me. You can be a good little hero and keep your hands to yourself, right?"
Hawks shivered, giving a small nod.
Dabi then went over and shut the door, leaving Endeavor to knock, yelling something about how they were both grounded.
The hero turned on the water, setting it to hot.
He then peeled off his sticky clothes from the trip. It definitely didn't help that he'd slept in them.
Before he could do anything, Dabi had stripped and came stalking over, changing the water to cold.
"Survival of the fittest!" He cried, shoving Hawks into the water.
He let out a shriek as the icy blast hit his skin, making him jump.
With quivering wings, he flattened himself against the wall, shrinking away from the cold.
The dark haired man stepped in, a wry smirk playing at his lips. "What's the matter, Chicken?"
Hawks wrapped his wings around himself, shivering. "N-not funny, crispy."
A burst of heat pulsed suddenly against his wings, making him quiver.
He moved one aside to see Dabi there, pressed against him slightly. "Feeling cold?"

"I'm so not doing this you horny raisin."
