Nezu POV
I was in the police department with Aizawa, who was on Green Bunny's case. As usual, got straight to the point.
"I think Green Bunny is younger than we think he is."
"How much younger...?" Tsukauchi asked.
"Probably the age of a young adult, maybe even a teenager."
There was a long silence. If this vigilante was just a boy... Even though there was little proof I was positive he wasn't older than 20.
"This case was more serious than I thought." Aizawa stated. "If we were going to have any chance of catching this vigilante, we better get straight to it..."
Izuku POV
I heard a scream coming from a few lanes away. But that wasn't possible. Everyone in the area had seen me and no villain would be stupid enough to attack me. There was a possibility that someone might actually get hurt if I don't act though... I just need to keep my guard up.
I jumped down into the ally. There was a young girl, about my age, who was being attacked by a masked man. I couldn't see the girl's face, the darkness had hidden her from me.
The man was big, obviously stronger than me. I decided not to underestimate him. For all I know, he could be faster and more agile then me as well.
I still had the element of surprise, though. Or so I thought. As soon as I had entered his range of vision, he attacked me; it was right of me to not underestimate him. I barely had time to side step before he leaped at me. He was using brute force all while moving fast and staying balanced.
He was no street fighter or a desperate thief. This guy was the real thing. And I had been lead right into his trap.
I quickly dodged, moving backwords so that the attacker would leave the girl alone. He took the bait, backing me into the corner. I hope the girl had enough sense to run away. She didn't. She stood there, frozen in fear. This was gong to make things a lot harder.
I aimed a kick at his face at the same time, threw a punch at his stomach. If he was going to make me play dirty, I would play dirty. I was no hero. I was a vigilante. One of the most wanted vigilantes in the country. I din't listen to the law. And this rotten man would not get past me.
I lunged, throwing kicks and punches where ever I could, evading nearly all his strikes. I didn't just randomly aim them at him; I went for the parts that would knock him out. I wouldn't be able to defeat him and leave him tied up. He had the skills to easily get away.
I needed him out unconscious.
He murmured something under his breath that I couldn't really make out, but I decided to worry about it later.
I heard sirens in the distance. At least the girl called the police. The man was left distracted. Seizing my chance, I lunged at him, hit him at the back of his head, striking a nerve, and sent him to the floor.
he was out cold.
I tied up his hands so he couldn't escape. The police were getting closer. I looked around to make sure the girl was safe. That's when I saw her face. It was Uraraka. Out of all the girls this guy decided to attack, he chose her. I squinted my eyes, so she didn't recognize the colour, and pulled my hood up further.
"Thank you..." She said.
I nodded my head. "Make sure the police find this guy."
I jumped away, thankful that she didn't recognize me.
Little did I know that she did...
Uraraka POV
That was Izuku... I saw his hair. His eyes. The way he walked. Instead of feeling anger, disappointment and sadness that my friend was a vigilante. I was happy. I felt tears of relief in my eyes.
Izuku was alive. He was a vigilante, but alive, and there was no way I would tell the authorities what I saw. I would never betray his trust.
I just hope one day he will trust me enough to tell me himself. Until then, I'll be waiting.
