Hey people!!!
Enjoy~
A whole week has passed since the U.A entrance exam, but the nerves were certainly still present. The acceptance letter was to be arriving any day now, and Izuku was as restless as ever!! One night, Inko (Izuku's mother) had invited Hayami over for dinner. Seeing as her son was a bit down in the dumps; from the obvious tension that filled the room, she figured Hayami would be able to cheer him up.
When Hayami arrived, Inko welcomed her in a warm embrace. Graciously taking the flowers Hayami had bought for her, she ushered Hayami into the kitchen where Izuku sat. Taking the open spot next to him, she greeted her friend with a warm smile. Izuku reciprocated with a small smile but Hayami could tell it was forced. Inko hurriedly placed heavy plates full of food in front of the two teens. After giving thanks, the three dived in... or so all but Izuku. He sat lifelessly in place, smiling blankly at the fish squished between his chopsticks. Perturbed by the odd behaviour, Inko attempted to regain his consciousness.
" Izuku..... Snap out of it..... Izuku!!!" fussed Inko.
Hayami, noticing Inko's whirlwind of worry gently nudged Izuku with her elbow. The boy snapped out of his trance, raising a brow at Hayami. She motioned to his mother, whose facial expression was furrowed in concern.
"Why are you smiling at that fish, should I be worried about you honey????" Inko fretted.
"Oh no sorryyyy, I just spaced out for a minute!" Izuku replied, placing the fish down to eat some rice instead.
Inko didn't seem convinced but alas, she let it go and continued her meal. Hayami's lips curved into a slight frown, remembering the events from a week ago that were most likely the cause of his comportment.
~Flashback to after the exam~
Hayami bopped her head as the music flowed through her ears. She opened her eyes, gazing at the sky which was a nice red hue. She wondered what could be taking Izuku so long, as she has been waiting outside for at least an hour now. She opened her messages once more, hoping to find a text from her green haired friend. But as like before, she had no new messages. Standing up from the bench, she shoved her earplugs into her small bag and walked closer to the front doors of UA. As she made it to the steps, a figure walked out from behind the doors. However, it wasn't Izuku but Katsuki Bakugou. Katsuki, noticing Hayami stopped right in his tracks. Hayami walked up the stairs, standing in front of the red eyed male with a huge grin.
"Kacchan!! How did your exam go???" Hayami smiled.
"It was so fucking easy!! I beat all those damn extras !!" he replied with a smirk.
"How many points did you get?" she probed, placing a finger to her cheek.
"I lost count after 70."he answered arrogantly.
"Wow that's great Katsu!! I'm happy for you!!" She congratulated, giving his back a praiseful smack.
"I know already, how did you do Doku?" he queried, grabbing her wrist and pulling it down.
"Well the written exam went fairly smoothly and I placed first in the physical exam!" Hayami responded.
"Well looks like you ain't that shitty dumbass." Katsuki sneered.
"Gasp!!! Did I just get a compliment from the great Bakugou Katsuki?!?!?!" Hayami overacted, receiving an eye roll from the ash blonde. "I have been blessed by the mighty lord, oh how I bow down at your feet King Explosion Murder!!"
