"Okay, when I imagined Aizawa's version of intense training ... THIS IS NOT WHAT I HAD IN MIND."

A blood-curling scream erupted from Hayami's throat and persisted all throughout her fall from midair.

"AHHH WE'RE GOING TO DIEEE!" Kirishima yelled–falling from a little above Hayami–, with a vein-busting grip on her arm.

"WILL YOU IDIOTS SHUT UP?!?!?" Bakugou shouted from below as he too, plummeted to the ground.

Tears burned Hayami's eyes at the rate of their fall.

"WHEN I SAID I WANTED TO BE SWEPT OFF MY FEET, I DIDN'T MEAN IT LITERALLY!!"

Hayami's mind flashed to the earlier hours of the day, piecing together everything that led to their current predicament.

Flashback (Roughly an hour before)

"For today's hero basic training, it's turned into a class with three instructors, All Might, me, and one more person," Aizawa noted from his place up on the podium, expressionless as always.

Sero raised his hand, squeezing himself between Izuku and Jirou.

"Excuse me! What'll we be doing?"

Aizawa whipped out a cue card that read 'RESCUE' in bold blue capitalized letters.

"Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's rescue training."

"Rescue... Looks like it'll be a lot of work this time, too." Kaminari commented.

"Right!!" Mina cheered.

Kirishima leaned forward and crossed his arms on top of his desk,

"Idiot, this is the duty of a hero!"

"Yeah!! And besides, are you really passing up the opportunity to be my knight in shining armor"

Hayami teased, slanted back in her seat.

"We'll probably alternate between being the heroes and playing civilians. Meaning, this is your chance to sweep me off my feet, and vice versa."

"My arms are ready to rumble!" Kirishima flexed.

"No one can beat me in water, ribbit"

Tsu glanced over at Hayami,

"Except you maybe."

"Hey, I'm not done." Aizawa deadpanned.

The class shut their mouths and held their tongues.

"You can decide if you want to wear your costume or not this time."

He clicked a button to draw out their costume cubbies from the walls.

"There are probably costumes that limit your abilities. The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That is all. Start getting ready."

With all said and done, Aizawa walked away to prepare for the trip.

"Meet you outside?" Hayami asked, tilting her head back.

Izuku nodded and rose from his seat.

Hayami quickly grabbed her suitcase and joined Momo outside the door, strolling towards the changing room. She made a quick pit stop at her locker and snagged her gym uniform, an action to which, in response, Momo raised her brow.

"Moral support for Izuku. Besides, the gym uniforms aren't really that much different from my body suit. I only really need my support items." Hayami explained as she locked her locker.
