Hello my lovelies,

Sorry this is such a short chapter but this is how I want to space things out :D

Enjoy~

"What!!! A Quirk Assessment Test?"shouted the entire class,(minus Hayami, Bakugou and Todoroki).

I knew the first day wouldn't be easy... leave it to uncle zawa to take the fun out of everything. Hayami thought.

"But what about orientation????" voiced Uraraka, obviously upset about the turn in events.

"If you want to become a hero, you can't waste your time on pointless ceremonies." Aizawa deadpanned.

Hayami slightly agreed, from the view of orientation not being something that would benefit their hero training. However, it held some importance but more in respect to each individual. Events like these were extremely helpful in welcoming students, leaving time to familiarize oneself with the building and of course, provide comfort in belonging.

"Here at U.A, we aren't tethered to traditions. Therefore I get to run the class however I please." The atmosphere intensifies as students' nerves grow indefinitely.

"Throwing a softball, 50 meter dash, those are examples of the standardized tests you've been doing all your life. However, you have never been able to use your quirks. The government is still trying to display everyone as equals despite the fact that people with power excel drastically. It's not rational, one day the ministry will learn." Aizawa explained.

"Bakugou, you placed first in the entrance exam, what was the farthest distance you could throw the softball in Junior High?" Aizawa asked, causing all attention to be placed on Bakugou.

"67 meters I think." Bakugou replied.

Oof so lucky....., I was only able to get 36 meters....Curse his ridiculously strong arms.. Hayami huffed internally, silently pouting at the difference in physical strength.

"Right, now try throwing it using your quirk this time." Aizawa stated, throwing the ball at Bakugou. After getting a firm grip around it, he walked over to a small circle in the center of the area.

"Anything goes as long as you stay in the circle. Now hurry up you're wasting time."

Bakugou stretched out his arms, preparing himself for the throw. Hayami watched intently, wondering how far he could throw with his quirk. Of course, Hayami has seen his explosions, but she's never seen them to their fullest extent. She was intrigued to know just how much power this blonde boy held in his disposal. Bakugou locked eyes with Hayami, sending her a smugful smirk before turning around. Hayami knew that the message he was trying to get across was 'watch me'. Taking a step back with one foot, he reeled his arm backwards, propelling the ball with one hell of a large explosion.

Hayami could feel a blast of warm air crash against her skin, the force of the blow slightly sending her hair spiraling back. Dieee? Hayami sincerely hoped that Bakugou hadn't been imagining hers or Izuku's face on the ball.

Hayami turned to Izuku to gouge out his reaction. One look had Hayami internally snickering, his expression was the most hilarious thing ever. Mouth agape, eyes bulging out, he looked like a fish out of water. She secretly wished she had her phone, she would've loved to add a photo of this to her wonderful picture collection of Izuku Midoriya.

"All of you must know your maximum, it's the most rational way to figure out your capabilities as a future pro hero.." Aizawa held up a tiny device to which Hayami identified as a distance tracker. On the small screen was displayed Bakugou's distance.....

705.2 meters!!!!!

The whole class gasped at his result.

"No wayyyyy 705.2 meters.... that's insane!!" Hayami turned to look at the boy who exclaimed. He had blonde hair, A black lightning shaped bolt on the left side. For no apparent reason, this boy gave off a memelord vibe to Hayami. She decided to put her theory to the test.

"That's what she said."

The boy's eyes lit up at Hayami's statement, responding with a, "I was wondering why the ball was getting smaller and smaller but it never hit me."

"Are you the one I've been searching for, my other half??" Hayami dramatically put a hand to her chest.

"Finally, someone who gets me!!" the blonde boy cheered.

"I'm Denki Kaminari!!"

"Hayami Yagi!!" The two shook hands. Meanwhile the class was discussing a different topic.

"Ooooo I wanna go!!! This looks like fun!!!" Mina squealed, clapping her hands together in excitement.

"Now this is what I'm talking about, using our quirks as much as we want!!" stated another boy. He had black hair and weirdly shaped elbows which Hayami assumed was because of his quirk.

The enthusiasm that the class was radiating made the space feel more welcoming and warm. However, Hayami knew this happy feeling wouldn't last any longer, for she felt a ticked off aura surrounding Aizawa. She knew he was displeased with people who didn't take things seriously.

Oh nooooo, here comes the worst part.... Hayami chewed on the inside of her lip, nervously wringing her hands together.

"This looks like fun huh? You have three years here until you become a hero, did you honestly think it would be all games and play time?? Idiots... today you will engage in 8 physical tests to gouge out your potential, whoever comes in last with each test will be deemed useless and expelled immediately." Aizawa informed, a sly smirk present on his face.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" the whole class screeched.

Hayami kicked at the floor with her shoe, truth be told she was terrified!!! Not for herself but for Izuku. She knew Aizawa wasn't joking. She was once told that he had expelled an entire class of first years because they didn't meet his standards. Hayami knew that Izuku had still yet to gain control over One For All completely. At the time, he could only use the power currently at 100% meaning sufficiently after his bones would be broken. This would limit him from competing in any activities after. This means he can't use One For All, in order to complete each and every test. But then this would result in Izuku coming last in all the tests... Aizawa will assume he has no potential at all in becoming a hero and therefore will expel him.

Her gaze lingered to Izuku's figure beside her. She could sense the nervous aura emitting from him, his body quaking in fear. It was very clear that he had come to the same conclusion as Hayami herself. The two friends locked eyes with one another. Hayami tried her best to give a reassuring smile but even the corners of her mouth failed at masking her worried facade. Hayami was like an open book to Izuku. After knowing her for so many years, he was able to read her emotions in an instant.

"Like I said before, I get to run the class however I wish!! If you've got a problem with that then you can excuse yourself and go home right now."

"Y-you can't just send us home!! I mean, we just got here for goodness sake and It's just not fair!!!" Uraraka expressed.

"Oh and what about natural disasters, shipwrecks, catastrophic villains, destruction that wipe out whole cities.... are those fair at all? The world is full of unfairness... it's a hero's job to fight back. If you want to become a pro you're going to have to push yourself to the top of the brink. For the next three years, U.A is going to throw you one hardship after another. So go beyond.... plus ultra style!!! Aizawa speech, he held out a finger motioning to the class.

"Show me it's no mistake that you are here!! Now we are just wasting time talking!!! Let the games begin!!!"

"Welcome to U.A High!!"
