"Alpha," a male beta started, "if we don't act now, we will lose the boy and even possibly the war,"

*****

"Why didn't you tell me this in the first place?!" Sam yelled at his mother.

*****

"We wouldn't have this problem if you'd trained the omegas to fear spilling our info more than death, baby brother," a female beta retorted.

*****

"It was to protect you..." Mary tried to explain.

*****

"Dagon, darling, please," another male beta said swirling around the contents in his glass. "we're here to solve this little problem, not make new ones."

*****

"So you decided to keep this from me?! If I'd known this..."

*****

"This isn't a 'little problem', Crowley," Abaddon stated, "it's losing something crucial to our Alpha,"

*****

"Sammy, listen to me..." Dean tried to reason.

"I can't believe you knew too!" Sam raged, "I thought we were brothers, but you decide to keep this from me?!"

*****

"How can you be so sure that there even is a betrothal?" Crowley asked, "Sure there's the pup's scent that's on the bitch like a true mate's would be, but the boy could've found his other half by sheer coincidence for all we know,"

*****

"Sam?" You walked into the house with Cas and Bobby. Cas had come searching for you after Dean had sent him, saying that there was an emergency with Sam. Bobby shared a look with John and Mary. "What's going on?"

*****

"The she-wolf is from further up the Midwest," Abaddon argued, "you could tell by looking at her coat. I don't think little Sam's even left Kansas, much less gone to Ohio or Michigan,"

"Not to mention how much the scents of other wolves in the Winchester pack Ruby mentioned," a blonde female beta stated. "the girl may be a subordinate, but she's the best tracker we have. Scents don't just rub onto you after a few days,"

*****

"Son," Bobby started, "listen..."

"I'm not your son!" Sam yelled, turning towards Bobby, his eyes glowing with anger. His hazel orbs now turned pitch black. You'd heard about wolves who's eyes would change color depending on how angry they were, but they were rare, and would only be given to the firstborn of the bloodline. "And apparently there's only one person here who's my biological parent!" He said, turning to Mary.

*****

"Siblings, everyone, please," said a man who was now standing with a smile plastered to his face, as if he found the debate amusing. He started walking around the table. "must we talk like we are the only ones in this room?"

*****

"Sam," you said, walking towards Sam in an effort to at least calm him down. "baby, what's wrong?"

Sam's shoulders seemed to relax at the sound of your voice. His fists unclenched slightly and his breathing had slightly calmed down. You got close enough to him so you could place your hand on his shoulder. You could feel his muscles begin to relax and unwind as you placed your other hand on his arm and rubbing circles with your palm.
