Y/N

It's been two hours since John and Bobby were attacked. I told Charlie about a half-hour after the whole ordeal that I wanted to go back to the house. After hearing John say he didn't want Sam to know about what they would talk about, for some reason, I felt sick to my stomach at the thought. I couldn't shake the thought that Sam was in danger. I couldn't shake the thought of Sam period. Why that is, I couldn't really say to save my life.

I heard the door open and close from my room. I closed my book and went downstairs to see who was at the door. I turned the corner and, sure enough, I was met with a large chest to the face and an intoxicating scent of a campfire. The realization of who the owner of the scent hit me at the same moment something hit the ground.

"SAM!" I jumped back and immediately covered my eyes based on the... past experience from the night before. Sam laughed at my reaction and assured me that, he was indeed, wearing a full set of clothing.

"I just got back from the store, Y/N," He said, trying to stop his fits of giggles. "I don't think you have to worry about that today."

"No, no, nope," I said popping the 'P'. "I do not trust you. For all I know, you could be naked, just like last night."

"I'm not," He said, still laughing. "I promise," At this point he had to know I was messing around. I slowly uncovered my eyes and saw the oversized alpha, fully clothed, and smiling the most genuine smile I've seen in a guy that wasn't my brother. "See?"

I rolled my eyes and noticed bags of different types of food spread out on the floor.

"Oh, crap," I immediately started picking up the food and putting it back in the bags. "Sorry, I didn't mean to..."

"Y/N, it's fine," Sam chuckled as he bent down to help. "It wouldn't be the first time this happened." We got all of the groceries put away and decided to sit down on the couch and relax. We sat in silence for a while until Sam decided to break it.

"So, how was meeting the pack?"

I chuckled slightly and gave a small shrug in return. "Well, some of the guys were..." I paused trying to find the words. "Interesting I guess." Sam laughed, probably knowing what I was talking about. "Rufus, seemed like a nice guy though."

"Yeah," Sam replied. "If he snaps at you for something stupid, don't take it personal, he's always been that way."

"Charlie and Jo were pretty interesting too," I said. "Remind me to hang out with them in the future."

"Oh," He replied with a look of surprise and relief written on his face. "Well, Jo and Charlie hang out with us and the guys most of the time, so that works out perfectly."

"Cool," I replied. Silence took over the room once again, but for a longer period of time. This time I was the one to break it. "Can I ask you something?"

Sam hummed in response.

"And you'll give me an honest answer?"

He nodded.

"What did you first think when you heard about the arrangement?" Sam let out a sigh and looked down, as if he knew that would be something I'd ask eventually.

"I didn't really know what to think," He said. "I didn't expect it in the first place because I didn't think arranged marriages were still practiced. I wasn't happy with it, to be frank. I asked my parents why and all they said was: "it has to be done." When yesterday came, I was so grumpy that Dean tried cheering me up while we were on patrol, of course, he did a terrible job."
