"Where should we go?" Jayd asks, out of breath from the escape.
"I would suggest Perdido beach, we could go for help, but I don't really know the way." I say, disappointed.
"I do! I used to live there! I could take us both! I also have a few friends there, some boys named Sam and Quinn."
"Okay, great! Lead the way!" I command, gesturing towards the forest.
Jayd takes a quick look around, taking in where we were and which way we need to go.
"It's this way," She says, pointing to a direction deep in the forest. She takes off, marching in that direction. "I am sure of it."
I skip happily after, humming to a tune that I have stuck in my head.

"Ughhhh! How much longer do we have to walk?" I trudge along the tiny path we are walking on.
"It shouldn't be long now." Jayd replies with a grin.
I brush branches out of my face and pull my shoes out of the disgusting mud.
Finally I see a street coming closer and closer. It looks abandoned and empty. Piles of garbage are all over the street.
Jayd and I walk slowly through the street, taking it all in. We reach a more populated area of the city and Jayd widens her eyes at the sight of a boy not too far away.
"Sam!" She screams at him.
"Jayd! Is that you?" He runs over to the pair of us.
"Yeah it is! We, Faith and I, need your help. We just escaped from Coates. I cant believe I found you!"
"Me neither! thought I would never see you again! So, what's going on at coates?"

Oh my gosh I am so sorry! I haven't realised how long ithas been! Plus it is really short and terrible! I just wanted to add something.
Anyway, I have some very important news. I am quitting this story. I will still keep it up, but I am not writing anymore. I just dont feel it with this story anymore. I don't even remember what happens in the actual book! Im sorry.
But, in happier news, I am writing a new fanfiction! It will be Harry Potter. It should be up soon. I also think it will br updated more frequently, since I LOVE Harry Potter. So look for the prologue that will be coming soon!
