Only the Avatar can master all four elements. A long time ago, the entire world managed to live in harmony. Until the Fire Nation attacked. The Avatar was the only one who could bring peace to the world, but he vanished over a hundred years ago. However, two young members of the Southern Water Tribe, Sokka and Katara, recently found the new Avatar, a young airbender named Aang. As far as everyone knows, he is, in fact, the very last airbender.
