Jordan was to pick me up from home. I really didn't want him to come here, but what harm could happen if he did? It wasn't like he was going to stay for long.

I wore a blue fled gown that was just a little below my mid thigh. I picked my white sneakers and put them on. I packed my hair into a messy bun. It was loose, so locks of hair dropped. I picked my favorite hair clip, it was sliver. I used it for my hair, then I heard the door bell ring. I knew it was Jordan. It had to be him. I went downstairs and found Claire standing beside a dimpled face Jordan. He looked really cute in his black tight jeans with his black sneakers and denim jacket.

"Hey," I said with a smile, and he returned it with a grin of his own.

"Hey," he replied, his smile turning awkward. If I didn't say anything, we wouldn't be leaving here anytime soon.

"So.." I said anxiously, then his smile dropped.

"Oh...yeah...here." He stretched his arms and gave me a white rose.

"Thank you." I collected it, and he scratched the back of his head. He did that a lot, especially when he was nervous.

"So...let's go."

"Yeah...sure," he said and left. I faced Claire, surprised when I saw her grinning.

"What?" I asked, and she grinned. This time, it was wider.

"Have fun....but..not too much fun."

"Yeah, yeah...whatever." I rolled my eyes and left.

I got outside and met him standing beside his black sub. His hands were in his pockets. To be honest, any girl would've died to be in my shoes. If he didn't reject me, I would be so lucky to have him. I couldn't say I didn't love Jordan anymore. He was my first love, and I didn't think I could ever forget that. He has most of my memories. He was with when I did all my firsts....except sex, of course.

"Yeah, we know he is hot," my wolf, "Penny," said.

"I know right?" I said back.

"Now stop staring and just go to him already; mate would not be pleased with this," Penny pointed out. I knew she was right. Don would not like this.

"He's our mate too," I said.

"No, ex-mate. He rejected us, remember?"

"Yeah, right," I said, and I blocked her away from my thoughts.

When I looked up, Jordan was already staring at me. I couldn't help but notice his blue piercing eyes and his almost red lips. Weird, right? But to be honest, that made him really cute. We were both staring at each other now. I walked up to him and he scratched the back of his neck.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Sure," I said, and he nodded. He opened the door for me, and I mouthed a thank you. He hopped in and drove off to a place I didn't know.

Jordan's POV

Okay, I know it was wrong to reject her. She was a really wonderful person. I was scared of the idea of having a mate. What I did was not forgivable; I just hoped she didn't accept the rejection soon.

As I drove, we listened to The Wonder Years by Jon Bellion. We drove in silence and soon enough, she dozed off. I couldn't help but giggle when a lock of hair fell to her face and she blew it away in frustration. She looked so cute.

I didn't tell her where we were going. It was our first and probably only date since the rejection. I still liked her and hoped she still liked me. She had not accepted the rejection yet, that meant I still had a space in her heart. I hope I get a second chance. Everyone deserves a second chance, right?

I drove to "our place." It was a garden my mother found. She met my father there. When I was still dating Nala, we always came here. I packed the car and got down. I didn't bother waking her. I'f caused her so much trouble. Waking her would add to the list. I tucked a lock of hair behind her ear and got down.
