I burst through the doors as the cold air hit me; immediately, Don's driver arrived.

Wow, earlier than expected. Note the sarcasm. I opened the door and entered.

"Good day, ma'am."

The driver greeted me, and I nodded. He didn't tell me why he arrived late, and that was better because I was in no mood to listen.

I sent a text to the group chat, telling them I was about to get home already.

Willow:

Why so late?

Dash:

Exactly

Nala:

Shit happens.

I typed and I went offline. The drive took about fifteen minutes.

Immediately, I entered our room. Mine and Dons. The telephone rang; it had to be Don, because he was the only one who knew the number.

"Hello."

"Nala...." He sighed, and I knew something was wrong.

"What's going on?"I asked as I sat at the edge of the bed.

"I don't think I will be able to make it home," he said, and for some reason I didn't know, I was hurt.

I heard some ruffling of sheets and a few curse words.

"Why?" I asked sadly.

I want to tell him I love him. I need to tell him, he needs to know.

"I'm so sorry, Nala. I swear I will make it up to you when I get back. Okay?"

I nodded and then realized he couldn't see me.

"Sure, no problem." I swallowed.

"I miss you."

"I miss you, too."

The three words I wanted to say were at the tip of my tongue, but I needed him to be here.

"Later," he said and then hung up.

I threw the phone on the bed and put my head in my palms. I heard my phone beep, it was a message from the group chat.

Keiran:

Almost there

Nala:

Okay

I stood up from the bed and changed into a white crop top and Greg joggers. I played music and then cleaned up my room since I already told the cleaners to stop doing it for me. I checked the time and it was forty five minutes after five. Fifteen minutes left.

I picked up my phone and ordered six boxes of pizza. Don't blame us, food is life, like how Willow would say it. I heard the doorbell ring; I went downstairs.

"Yo," Dash said, grinning as he entered the house.

We exchanged greetings as they all entered. We all moved up into my room with pizza boxes and drinks.

"Oh my goddess, Nala, is this your room?!" Willow exclaimed, and I gave a sheepish smile.

"Actually, it's Dons, but I stay here too," I said as I felt my blood rush to my cheeks.

"She's even blushing....omg.....wait, wait, have you had sex?"

"No, of course not....oh gosh, Willow," I said with a look of horror on my face.

How would it feel when he touches me or when he was inside me? Stop thinking, Nala, it's not healthy.

"OK, guys, enough of me, how are you?" I asked, not wanting them to talk about me.

"We are expecting a baby," Sheldon whispered. If not for our really good ears, we wouldn't have heard.

"I'm going to be an aunt," Willow squealed.

"Sheldon, this is good news," I said, smiling, and she didn't talk.

"What's wrong, Shelly? Aren't you excited?" I asked with concern laced with my voice.

"I am but.....I need help," she said, facing Keiran.

"We're moving," Keiran said.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that.

"We are going to miss you, Shelly, but we will still see each other frequently, right?"

And when she didn't talk, I dreaded the answer she was going to give me. Oh no.

Willow burst into laughter suddenly. I turned to her, confused only to see all my friends laughing.

"Why the hell are you all laughing?" I asked, shouting so I could be heard.

"You've just been pranked Nala," Shelly said, smiling really hard.

"Oh no.....you did not just prank me," I said in disbelief.

I removed my joggers.

"What are you doing?" Dash asked curiously, and I smirked.

"Watch and see," I said, removing my crop top.

"Oh no, she is going to race us...." Shelly shouted, and my friends removed their clothes as well.

I changed into a wolf. My wolf was a small wolf, but trust me when I say she was really fast. She was a light brown wolf with blue eyes.

I ran through the door to the forest.

The howls behind me indicated my friends were nearer. A slightly darker brown wolf than mine pushed me, and I pushed back.

That was Willow.

We played for hours until we got tired.

"We really had fun, Nala, thanks," Dash said.

"Don't thank me ....I should thank you. You made me realise I needed the old me back."

"Yeah, we missed the old you, too," Shelby said.

"Me too," I said as I hugged my friends goodbye.

Well, I had fun, I thought to myself as I cleaned up.
