CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

I wake up really tired. Yesterday was really fun and tiring at the same time. I decide to go back to sleep but that is cut short when I feel Don wrap his hands around me making me smile. I turned to face him.

"Morning" I says smiling at him

"Morning" He says pulling me closer to him. He kisses me before letting me go.

"As much as i would love to keep you to myself today, I have a lot of work to do" He mumbles against my chest making me giggle.

"See you tonight" He says. I stiffen against him making him laugh.

"Just to see you and talk about our day nothing more" He says laughing making me blush. I think he means sex tonight. I feel so embarrassed for thinking that way.

"Sure just talking" I say still blushing.

"And we could do more than talking, who knows," he says with a smirk, as he goes to the bathroom.

We go for breakfast together. I am thinking today is going to be very good but Kim decides to show up. Why can't she just stay with her pack and stop coming here?

"Morning" Kimberly says in her usual high-pitched voice as she holds Don's arm like her life depends on it.

"Morning" Don says tightening his hold on my waist making me smirk. She needs to be put in her place.

We all sit for breakfast. Everything is going well except Kim constantly flirting with Donald which doesn't really piss me off because Don is not paying any attention to her.

"See you tonight" He whispers in my ears as soon as he finishes his food making me blush again.

"Ok" I whisper back. He kisses my neck before leaving. As soon as I look up, my eyes meet with Viv. She is wiggling her eyebrow making me giggle.

I help clear the table when we finish eating. I hit a wall when I am about to leave the kitchen. The smell from the said wall makes me know it is Kim.

"Sorry," I say.

"You're not good enough for him and you know it," She says. I roll my eyes at her remark.

"He isn't complaining," I say.

"You are only after the throne. You can't even take care of the responsibility" She glares at me. Her words hurt me to an extent but if I don't stand up to her now she won't know her place.

"You are after the throne and you're bitter because you know you've lost"

"You think I can't get the throne because you don't know how close I am to the throne. He almost marked me" She says. What! I try not to look shocked or angry.

"Almost Kim, you say almost and there is a reason he didn't mark you and that's because he has me!" I raise my voice at this point trying to convince myself. I try to believe what I just said but it isn't easy.

"Donald likes to be in control and you don't look like someone that likes to be controlled," she says.

"You know what Kimberly I'll advice you to know your place when it comes to your superior," I say angrily.
