  I woke up and I was the only one in the car. I looked around and saw that he had brought us to the place where we first met. I knew how dear this place was to him; It reminded him of his mother.

"Oh shut up, he doesn't deserve our pity," Penny said, and I smiled.

"Cut it out, Penny, he's trying his best to make it up to us."

"Hmph...whatever," Penny said, and I shook my head.

I searched for Jordan, finally spotting him leaning on the tree near the lake. He turned and waved, and I returned the gesture.

"Hey," I said with a smile.

"Hey," he responded. I stood beside him, and we both stared at the lake.

"I'm sorry," we both said at the same time, facing each other.

"What exactly are you sorry for? You didn't do anything wrong," he said.

"Well, I must have done something for you to reject me immediately we found out we were mates."

"Yeah..about that, I was stupid, and it's one of the reasons why I'm sorry."

"You were stupid," I said, and I smacked his head.

"Oww.." he said, and rubbed his head. Immediately I smacked his head again, but a nut fell on my head.

"Owww.." I said and looked up. It was a squirrel.

"Karma's really a bitch," Jordan stated.

"Fuck you, karma," I shouted, and we both laughed. I really missed this, 'us.'

"Race you," I said, and ran behind a tree and let my wolf out. I started running, and I heard him shout from behind.

"Hey, no fair."

"Haha!! Take that," I mind linked him. We could do that because we were still in the same pack.

"Oh...game on," Jordan said and then let his wolf out. Before I knew it, his wolf was beside mine.

"Woah...you're fast."

"And hot," he said and ran faster.

"Wait up," I shouted and tried to catch up.

"That was fun," I mind linked him. I slept on my belly, and we were opposite each other. He moved closer, and Penny growled.

"Penny, we can trust him. He would not do anything stupid."

"Mate would not be happy about this," Penny said.

"It's our secret."

"Is your wolf okay with me staying beside you?" he mind linked me.

"Yeah..sure," I said, and he moved closer.

Jordan's POV

I had to ask her for permission. Damon, 'my Wolf,' was going crazy.

"Let's go to mate."

"We rejected her, remember?" I said.

"She did not accept the rejection; she's still our mate."

"But.."

"Mate, now," I sighed and moved closer, but her wolf growled.

Nala might've okay with me, but her wolf was definitely not okay with me.

"Is your wolf okay with me staying beside you?" I mind linked her.

"Yeah..sure," she said, and Damon moved closer. He was in control now.

He moved closer and rubbed our first together. Nala stiffened but was a little attracted. Damon licked her, and she licked him.

"Okay, that was gross," I said to Damon.

"Well, mate doesn't  think that way," Damon said, still licking her. Before we knew what was happening, our wolves were on top of each other.

"Okay, we need to stop our wolves, now!"  Nala mind linked me.

"I'm trying to," I said, but Damon would not take it.

"Change."

"Uhm...you do realize I'll be naked?"

"Just do it fast."

"Fine." I changed and turned. Nala ran to the back of a tree, and that gave me the chance to get dressed. She came out fully dressed and bit her nails. She did that whenever she was nervous.

"That was weird," she said.

"I know right...it's okay, it does not mean anything," I said and saw her smile drop, or at least I thought I saw.

"So...what now?" she asked and smelt herself. She frowned.

"Now I smell just like you," she said.

"Well, I think you smell great," he said.

"Of course you would say that."

"Let's go skinny dipping?"

"Uhm.. I don't think it's a great idea."

"Oh, come on, it'll be fun, just like old times."

"What do you say?" I asked hopefully.

"Uhm..well, okay," she said and looked at me.

"Well..?" I asked.

"Turn," she said and rolled her eyes. I smiled at her cuteness.

"Oh..okay, sorry." I looked down and scratched the back of my neck. I turned and later heard a splash.

"You can look now," she shouted, and then before I knew it, we were both in the water.

After our date, we talked for a very long time. We stayed till evening to watch the stars. We drove back home and stopped in front of her house.

"Thank you," she smiled and unbuckled her seatbelt.

"Anytime."

"Here, thank you" she said, removing my jacket and giving  it to me. I got down with her, and she stood on her toes to peck me.
