Chapter 15: Fridge for the Future

Nang maghiwa-hiwalay kami, agad akong pumunta sa kusina. Kitchen is my favorite part of the house, mahilig kasi akong magluto. Syempre, kailangan kong matuto dahil mag-isa lang naman ako sa bahay.

Una kong tinignan ang fridge. It may look like a normal two-door fridge, but never judge the book by its cover. Nafigure out ko kung paano ko ito buksan nang kumain kami kanina. Kailangan ng handprint bago mo ito mabuksan, yes, handprint, not fingerprint. So advanced, right?

This fridge has also holographic feature, just make a circle in any place in the door, lalabas na ang hologram options nito. Pwede kang humingi ng tubig, juice o kahit anong meron sa loob ng fridge. Tinignan ko ang relo ko, yung binigay ni Tesla kanina. "Hey, Tesla." tawag ko dito.

"Yes?"

"Anong tawag ditong sa relong 'to, and what can you do with it?"

"Sir Flammel makes gadgets? Really?" amazed na tanong ko. Hindi lang siya businessman pero inventor rin!

"Yes. He entitled all of his creation, QuinTech. Most of the gadgets here in the house is made by him. Including the fridge you just opened, and the Spiece you are wearing." I am so amazed right now.

"Is it being sold?" tanong ko.

"No. No one even knows about the existence of QuinTech."

"Bakit?"

"Because it is too advanced for this generation. Gadget and technologies hardly reach the clearest image, the longest zoom range, the loudest image. While Sir Ivan perfected a phone when he was just 10. He is a technology freak ever since he was young. He said that we just need time to release these gadgets. It will be the biggest issue when he suddenly released futuristic gadgets that it is too good to be true."

I just continued exploring the kitchen when I noticed one thing.

"Hey, Tesla. Nasaan ang stove and oven?" takang tanong ko.

"Here" she said then suddenly, one part of the counter levitated and showed a smooth black pad with bunch of circles. Tinignan ko 'yung naglevitate na marble at nakitang exhaust pala ito sa ilalim. Sobrang High Tech!

Tapos napalingon ako sa wall kung saan biglang tumaas ang gray na parte ng pader at ipinakita ang Kitchen Oven. Cabinet style siya na nasa gray wall.

Oh God, I am so going to enjoy cooking here.

"Good evening!" masiglang bati sa amin ni Sir Flammel. It's 6 PM at nagdidinner na kami ngayon habang magsisimula pa lang ang meeting namin. Binati rin namin siya pabalik. Our meeting is just through hologram.

"Who cooked dinner?" tanong ni Sir Flammel. Tinuro naman ako nila at napangiti si Sir Flammel. "I see that you have discovered the secrets of my kitchen"

Napailing ako. "Tinulungan po ako ni Tesla."

Kanina, noong nakita ko pa lang, akala ko iaactivate mo lang siya. Pero nang nagluto na ako, biglang lumabas lahat ng holographic options. Doon mo iaadjust ang init ng stove, mga timers at iba pa.
