Since the moment that she confessed her feelings, I have to act that I haven't heard it, we're in good terms like the usual, no awkward moments happen for a week now.

"Jessie will be here for the weekend again." Brie tells the three of us when we have dinner on Friday night. "She'll be here tomorrow morning at least at seven."

"Wait, she will drive tonight?" Lewis asks.

"Yeah." Brie replies. "Start at midnight to avoid the traffic jam."

Jessie is coming over? Again? Wait. What should I do? Oh my gosh, I remember now. I told Jessie that we take things slow but in reality, we didn't speak so much. Maybe she's busy with uni or with her part time job.

But, is that what I want? With Jessie? To be honest, I don't have the feelings towards her like the old times, or when we had sex when she came over almost a month ago. Shoot, what should I do?

Hold up. I can talk to her about us then. I can be honest with her that I've fallen for Alex so that I don't have to keep her waiting for me. That's it. It sounds like a plan.

I hope I can be with Alex afterwards. I'm gonna tell her that I like her too. I don't want to waste the time again. I need to tell Alex so she can trust me more. But I have to wait until the right moment because I have to deal with Jessie first.

"Earth to, Lo." Lewis pokes me.

"Huh? What?" I ask him.

"Jessie is coming over." Lewis says.

"I heard Brie." I say nonchalantly.

"What's wrong with you? You used to ask me about Jessie all the time." Lewis says.

"Nothing." I lie.

"Come on, you used to be so excited when you talked about her." Lewis teases me.

"Things has changed now." I scoff.

"Is this about that Alex girl?" Suddenly my gaze averts from my plate to Brie, she shakes her head that she didn't tell Lewis.

Apparently Lewis sees us communicating with gestures. "Come on, I'm not deaf." He scoffs. "I can't believe you never talk about her to me, Lo."

"Nothing important, Lewis." I say. "It's a girl stuff since I am a gay. Even though Brie is not gay, at least she's a woman. She knows what a girl needs."

Lewis shakes his head in astonishment. He doesn't say a single word so I continue. I don't want him to be forgotten or something. It's just... Sometimes he's so over protective. I know that what brothers do but please, I'm an adult.

"It doesn't mean I don't want your opinion. But really, it's nothing." I assure him. "If things go further, I will tell you since you're my family I have in here. Believe me in this one, okay?"

I touch his arm, he looks at me and nodding. "But if she—"

"Lewis, trust me." I say firmly. "I know you care about me, but please, I'm an adult. I can take care of myself, you just need to trust me. If something happens, I will tell you. Okay?"

He nods, he pats my hand on his arm.

"Thank you, Lewis. I love you." I smile.

"I love you too, baby sis." He stands up to kiss my head. "Sometimes I forgot that you're eighteen. You seem like a five in my eyes the whole time. But I guess, you can make your own decision now."

I smile, thanking for his understanding. "I will ask your opinion about something some day."

"Yeah." He smiles. "Come on, eat it up."
