Words will never be enough
No ink will ever be able to paint the portrait
Be though the page is soft
My feelings can never have an approximate
Words won't be enough
To see the raging flame of emotions
That cause turmoil within my paper heart
To feed my dominant ocean
And my lightning mind
Words aren't enough
To vividly express my love and my fears
My anxiety and my joy
To understand a glass tear
Playing with my emotions as a toy
Word couldn't be enough
To express these words
Shallow lines imprinted on the page
But deeper than what meets the soul
With lifelong experiences, such as a sage
Stored away and buried within a scroll
To express all this may be tough
Solidified mouths and the tongue may be rough
To breathe out the word as a puff
Because words can never be enough
