Chapter 7: Bread & Almond Milk

~Soobin's P.O.V~

Me and Yeonjun hyung are now at a bakery shop. We got hungry on our way to school and he told me that he'll treat me so I agreed. Once we got inside, the fragrant smell of bread immediately went in through my nose. I feel like I'm in heaven.

"May I have this bread pls?"

"Here..." -Cashier

"Oh oh and this one too."

"Ok?" -Cashier

"And this-"

"Yah! Bin! I don't have enough money!" -Yeonjun

"Sorry hyung. But can I have just that pls? I promise it's the last one!"

"Should I?" -Yeonjun

"It's up to you sir." -Cashier

"Hmm... Fine. We'll take that too pls." -Yeonjun

"Alright. Your friend sure is hungry." -Cashier

"Yeah I know." -Yeonjun

"Thank you hyung!" *hug*

"Ok ok stop hugging me." -Yeonjun

I'm already eating the bread me and Yeonjun hyung bought though he haven't payed for it. He's waiting the cashier to tell him how much the price is. I didn't bother to listen and continued eating like an innocent kid since I won't pay.

"Here you go sir. That will be 17,263.88 won pls." -Cashier ($15.59)

*Jaw drop* -Yeonjun

"... H-here..." -Yeonjun

"Thank you sir! Have a good day." -Cashier

We're now at the park of our school eating the bread he bought me earlier. We kinda bought a lot of bread today so I'm still not done eating. I noticed that he was quiet this whole time after we went out of the bakery shop. Is there a problem?

"Hyung this is really good!"

"..." -Yeonjun

"I wonder how they make this..."

"..." -Yeonjun

"You should try it!"

"..." -Yeonjun

"Yah! Hyung!"

"Sorry what?" -Yeonjun

"What are you thinking hyung? You're not even listening to me!"

"Yah! Bin! Did you know how much those breads cost? 17,263.88 WON! That's literally expensive for a bread!!" -Yeonjun

"Sorry hyung... I'll buy you ramen next time."

"You better be." -Yeonjun

"But tbh, deep inside, like very deep, I think I'm not that happy with bread anymore..."

"Yah Bin, don't do something you'll regret." -Yeonjun

Let's just fast forward since school is boring. It's dismissal time and me and Beomgyu were the first one to get out of class from our group. While waiting, we decided to buy some milk. So we went outside the school and walked to a near convenience store.

"Hey Soobin. Let's buy milk." -Beomgyu

*Ehem*"Hyung?"

"Oh c'mon! You're only 3 months older than me!" -Beomgyu

"Fine... Let's go."

My ears got irritated while walking. Beomgyu is really loud and people who passed by us are looking at us with a weird and annoyed expression. I'm literally getting embarassed with this guy's loud voice. Good thing we finally arrived at the convenience store and his mouth shut closed for the meantime. Pls Beomgyu just shut your mouth until later...

"I'll get the chocolate milk." -Beomgyu

"And I'll get the almond one."

"Can you stop drinking almond and try tasting chocolate?" -Beomgyu

"NO! Almond is THE best flavor for milk and no one in this world is going to change my mind!"

"Fine, as you said..." -Beomgyu

'Am I even telling the truth?'

We bought our milks and went back to the gate. Good thing Yeonjun hyung and Taehyun are already there. We walked towards their direction while still sipping our milks. I'm so thankful Beomgyu's mouth didn't bother to talk along our way back.

"So wanna walk home?" -Beomgyu

"Ahh Beomgyu hyung..." -Taehyun

Taehyun pointed at me reminding Beomgyu that I hate walking. Even though I already explained to them the reason, they still wouldn't listen and eventually forget which irritates me a lot. I just hate walking ok?

"Oh yeah right. Sorry. Let's take the bus." -Beomgyu

As usual, we took the bus and went home. Then I teased my siblings again. There. I said it. The end. Just a normal day and a normal night in the life of Choi Soobin.
