(Short chapter ahead)
~Third Person's P.O.V~
The two students are getting to know each other more. Since Lia came to Korea, she's been sticking around with Soobin as her first friend back in the country that gave her a heartbreak. After school, they decided to go to the park to release their stress.
"Greenie I'm tired..." -Lia
"Yeah me too... Hey! Wanna come with me to the park?" -Soobin
"Is it near here?" -Lia
"Yup! Just one stop from the bus." -Soobin
"Oh ok. Let's go!" -Lia
The two rode the bus and as expected, just one stop and Lia can already see the park. It looks different from the park in Canada. There it would be snowy and cold. But here, it's pretty warm and sunny.
"It's so peaceful here." -Lia
"Yeah. I come here when I feel stressed out. Where do you go when you feel stressed in Canada?" -Soobin
"I go to the lake and do ice skating with my friends." -Lia
"That's fun. There's no lake here so we only walk around on winter." -Soobin
"It's still cold in Canada. Man I miss that place." -Lia
"What about Korea?" -Soobin
"Well it's not that Korea isn't fun. It's just..." -Lia
"Is there a problem? You can tell me about it." -Soobin
"Let's go sit over there first." -Lia
The two sat at a nearby bench. Soobin waited for Lia to open up. The girl wasn't sure if she should tell her story to someone she just met days ago, but she really felt comfort with the boy so she did.
"You see... I'm born here in Korea but then, when I was around six years old, I got into a car accident with my family..." -Lia
"Oh my..." -Soobin
"My parents didn't survive and I was in a critical condition. My auntie decided to bring me to Canada for full recovery but I had amnesia. These days, I've been remembering some of my past." -Lia
"I'm sorry for what happened to you..." -Soobin
"It's ok. There's nothing we can do about it. What about you? Do you have a past??" -Lia
"Well I don't quite remember actually but my sister keeps saying that there's this girl I always play with but then she died." -Soobin
"I'm also sorry for your loss..." -Lia
"Thank you. You know, let's just focus on the positive side. Wanna buy ice cream?" -Soobin
"Sure!" -Lia
The two just kept on talking about things they wanted to know, but not everything. They promised that they'll tell each other in the future when they're ready. They roamed around the park for hours and it's getting darker so they decided to go home.
