Chapter 38: A Little Birdie

~Soobin's P.O.V~

Me and my cousin Sanha finally went home. Idk why but I can't talk to him properly. I hate him for no reason. Or there is? We went to my room and dropped our bags on top of our beds. While unpacking, I noticed that he's been talking about Lia most of the time. Is there something going on that I'm not prepared for?

"Soobin, Did you understand the topic in english?" -Sanha

*Cold*"Yeah. Which one?"

"The verb part. Can you help me with that? I'll help you with nouns." -Sanha

*Cold*"Yeah, sure."

"Bin, is there something wrong?" -Sanha

"No. Nothing's wrong."

"Ok..." -Sanha

While doing our homework, he's talking about Lia again. I tried to explain to him about verbs he keeps talking about a different subject.

"Hey Soobin, the girl beside you earlier, Lia right? Is she new??" -Sanha

*Cold*"Yeah. She's from Canada."

"Oh I see..." -Sanha

"Alright, so one example of verb is singing..."

"Just like how beautiful Lia sings..." -Sanha

'How did he know that she can sing?'

Everytime I pinpoint something, he woukd directly use Lia as an example. Just like earlier. I'm getting mad at him from the inside but I still tried to show a cold expression. Dude what's wrong with him??

"Sanha, I noticed you've been talking about Lia the whole time. Do you like her?"

"I-Idk. Did my heart flutter? I also don't know." -Sanha

"Just tell me what you feel."

"Bro, I think..." -Sanha

"You think what??"

"I think it's love at first sight." -Sanha

He never believes atlove at first sight. He woukd always rant how much peopoe re so blind about this topic and I would sometimes agree and disagree with him before. But just after meeting Lia, it's like he has an amnesia and forgot how much he hates love at first sight.

"So you like her?"

"Yes." -Sanha

~Flashback~

"Idk about you guys but Soobin, I think you need to hurry a bit with the confession. I have a bad feeling about this..." -Beomgyu

Beomgyu was right. He sensed something is coming. And from all people, my cousin? Why?? How???

"You ok with that right cousin?" -Sanha

"Huh?"

"Me liking Lia, I mean, you're just friends right?" -Sanha

I felt my hands turning into a fist. I'm starting to hate him cuz he likes the same girl as me. We never fought over a girl before. Most of the time it would be colors and such. But now, it's different.

"Idk what's going on with me. I really like her. I don't believe at love at first sight before but now, I think I do. Hey! Will you help me with her?" -Sanha

'Help you? Me help you get along with the girl I like?? No way man!'

"Ahh I'm not surecousin. I think I'll be busy with the next few weeks..."

"Oh ok. I can do it myself anyways." -Sanha

After finishing our homework, we went to sleep. But of course, I'm not yet sleepy. I can't believe what's going on. My own cousin likes the same girl as me? I'm sorry Sanha but I think...
