Chapter 41: Soobin Vs Sanha Pt.1

~Third Person's P.O.V~

Soobin is now packing his bag in his room. He's planning to tell his cousin to back off from Lia. He's determined to make the girl his. Even his own cousin, like a best friend, has to beat him first if he really likes her.

"Ahh Sanha, may I talk to you?" -Soobin

"Sure! What is it?" -Sanha

"Remember when you told me that you like Lia?" -Soobin

"Yeah, and?" -Sanha

"I like her too." -Soobin

"... What?" -Sanha

"I like her before you even met her. And a piece of advice as your cousin, I'm telling you to stay away." -Soobin

*Cold*"Why would I do that?" -Sanha

*Smirk*"Cuz she's mine..." -Soobin

*Cold*"Does she like you back?" -Sanha

"..." -Soobin

*Smirk*"See? She's not yours buddy." -Sanha

*Furious*"Don't you dare!" -Soobin

"Cousin... We're rivals now." -Sanha

After what Sanha said, Soobin ran out of the house first. He wants to be with Lia 24/7 and the only way for that to happen is for him to be the first one to accompany her to school. Sanha knew what Soobin was up to and he followed him. The two were having a race on who will catch Lia's attention first. From this day on, they became rivals.

'Should I walk? Nah! I'm gonna take the bus.' -Soobin

Soobin rode the bus making sure he's in first place. Sanha on the other hand is still waiting for a bus. Unfortunately, there wasn't. As an advantage of being opposite to Soobin's personality, he started running on his way to school. "Lia!" -Soobin

The boy ran as fast as he could making sure his cousin is not around. He saw Lia smiling at him after seeing him across the road. This made him smile too and show his cute dimples.

"Hi Soobin! You look tired..." -Lia

"Nah I'm ok. Let's go?" -Soobin

"What about the others?" -Lia

"I think they'll catch up. Let's go now!" -Soobin

Lia was wondering why Soobin looks like on a hurry and started running instead of walking. On the other hand, another tired six feet tall boy came and saw the scene. It was Sanha. He's late and now Soobin has her attention. He never expected a day would come that he and his cousin, like a best friend, would fight over a girl. They all went to their classroom without waiting for the other TxT members. It's finally lunch time and Soobin wanted to solo Lia so he brought her to the mini park of the school.

"Isn't it nice here Lia?" -Soobin

"Yeah it is. But I think you'll also like the mini park in Canada." -Lia

"Maybe." -Soobin

"Ahh, may I ask? Is there something going on??" -Lia

"N-nothing." -Soobin

"Are you sure?" -Lia

"Yeah yeah, nothing's wrong, don't worry." -Soobin

Lia wasn't convinced by Soobin's answer. She knew something is going on. But she doesn't wanna stress herself so she just brushed it off.

"Let's go back now shall we?" -Soobin

"Let's go!" -Lia

The two went back and are now walking along the hallway. Soobin forgot that he left his wallet. Good thing their building is just near the park. He told Lia about it and went back.

"Oh no. Ahh Lia, I think I forgot my wallet at the park. I'll just go get it." -Soobin

"Sure! I'll wait for you here." -Lia

"Thanks..." -Soobin

Soobin left and Lia was just standing at the hallway looking around her. Some students are walking towards their classrooms as class is about to start again. Out of nowhere, Sanha showed up.

"Hi Lia." -Sanha

"Oh Sanha! Hi." -Lia

They didn't know but Sanha was looking at the two of them since earlier waiting for Soobin to leave Lia alone by herself and for him to talk to her. And succesfully, he did.

"Did you already ate?" -Sanha

"Yeah I did." -Lia

"I see. Well I wanna give you this banana milk if you ever get thirsty." -Sanha

"That's so nice of you... Thanks." -Lia

"Welcome." -Sanha

"Hey Lia! I got my-" -Soobin

*Cold*"Cousin..." -Sanha

*Cold*"Hello to you too... Cousin." -Soobin

Both of them emphasized the word 'cousin' and it gave Lia a clue that something really IS going on between the two of them.

"I'll be going now, bye." -Sanha

"Bye." -Lia

"C'mon Lia, let's go to the canteen with the boys." -Soobin

"But aren't we gonna be late?" -Lia

"Don't worry, we still have time." -Soobin

Lia can still sense that uneasy feeling but she doesn't wanna ask Soobin because he looks uncomfortable when they talk about Sanha. After classes, they arrived home and went to sleep. Today is a win for Soobin. But for Sanha, he's not giving up. He planned to make the day tomorrow his.
