Part 7:

I woke up to the sound of a baby crying, and at first, I was very confused, but then I realized that I had only just given birth, so I quickly opened my eyes and sat up in the hospital bed. I looked around the room until my eyes finally landed on Justin holding our daughter in his arms trying to calm her down. "Shh Beverly, don't wake up mommy" Justin whispered to our daughter as she continued to try. "Too late babe, I'm already awake," I told him with a smile. Justin looked away from Beverly and pouted at me. "I'm sorry, I know how tired you are," he told me, then he came over to me and sat on the edge of the bed. "It's fine Justin, Beverly comes first," I told him, then I grabbed her out of his arms and started rocking back and forth. Looking at her, I noticed that she was no longer wearing the blanket she had been swaddled in, but rather wearing a bodystocking with flowers and a tiny hat to keep her head warm. "Don't you just look beautiful, Beverly! Did daddy dress you?" I asked her, even though the question was mostly for Justin. "He sure did, he also changed her diaper, so mommy should be proud" he grinned. "How long was I out?" I asked him as Beverly finally calmed down. Justin shrugged his shoulders and looked down at his watch. "An hour, maybe an hour and a half" he then said, which wasn't very long, but I felt rested. I had been so busy looking at Beverly that I did not even notice that I too was wearing a new outfit. "Who dressed me?" I asked Justin as I placed my forehead against Beverly's. "I did because one of the nurses told me it would be easiest to do when you were sleeping" he mumbled, then he scooted closer and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "You're probably right," I told him with a smile, "Just sitting here hurts a lot," I told him with a laugh, "But it was all worth it" I mumbled against Beverly's forehead. I cannot believe how fast she's taken over my heart!

A few minutes later the door into our room was opened and the midwife that helped deliver Beverly came in. A nurse had told us that her name was Elisa and that it would be okay for us to call her that. "Hello, you three, are you ready to learn how to breastfeed?" she asked while walking over to us. I nodded my head and kept my eyes focused on Beverly. "Do you want me to leave while you feed her?" Justin anxiously asked as he looked around the room. "Why would I want you to leave? It's not like you haven't seen them before" I told him with a laugh. Immediately Justin relaxed again and nodded his head. "True" he laughed. Elisa laughed as well and took a quick look at Beverly. "Okay Y/N, if you just start by placing your thumb against Beverly's lips to see if she's hungry" she explained. I did exactly what she told me to do and immediately Beverly started sucking on my finger, but when she realized nothing was coming out, she started crying again. "Okay, she's definitely hungry" Elisa laughed, "So now you just need to pull down your shirt and carefully place her in front of your breast, and if she doesn't find the nipple herself, then you'll just guide her to it" she softly explained. I took in a deep breath and pulled down my shirt, then I placed Beverly right in front of it, and luckily, she found my nipple right away. As she started sucking, I grimaced because it was hurting. "I should probably have told you that it would but, and it will continue to hurt, but you'll get used to it until you suddenly don't even feel it anymore," she told me, then she squeezed my shoulder and left the room. Beverly kept going at it, so I looked up at Justin to see him staring right at us with his phone in his hand giving me the feeling that he had taken a picture of us. "I don't think you've ever been sexier," Justin said with a laugh as he came to sit beside us again. "Oh really?" I asked him and furrowed my eyebrows. "Definitely!" he said, then he leaned over and placed a kiss on my lips. "Would it be okay if I called our parents and told them that Beverly finally made her arrival?" Justin asked after a few minutes of silence. "Of course, but call your mom first, I want her to be the first to meet her," I told him still holding a grudge against my parents. Justin dialed Pattie's number and pressed the speaker button so I could be in on the conversation. "Hey honey," Pattie greeted as she picked up the phone. "Hey mom, I still wanted to call and let you know that you're officially a grandma," Justin said while grinning like a fool, but I was doing the exact same thing. "Are you serious? Is she finally here?" Pattie asked. The question was followed by a sob, which immediately made me start sobbing. Oh, these hormones! "Yeah, you're officially a grandma to a little angel at 6.3 pounds and 18.7 inches, named Beverly Lillie Bieber," I told her. Just then, Beverly lost control of my nipple and started fussing. "It's okay Beverly," I whispered, then I guided her towards it again and she started eating again. "She sounds perfect you guys!" Pattie awed as she heard Beverly. "Would you like to come and meet her?" Justin asked while winking at me. He already knew his mother's answer. "Are you kidding? Of course, I wanna come to meet her! I'll be there in half an hour," she said, then she hung up, and Justin and I started laughing. While waiting for Pattie, we decided to call my parents and some of our friends. Of course, they were all very excited, but to make sure the room would not be too crowded, we invited my parents to come and see Beverly the next day since it was getting late, and I was too tired to have more people visiting us now. A gentle knock was heard on our door, so Justin grabbed a sleeping Beverly out of my arms and went to greet his mother at the door. "Hey grandma," he cooed as he opened the door. Pattie gasped and looked at the little girl in Justin's arms, then she went into the room and quickly greeted me before taking her out of Justin's arms. I smiled at her eagerness and quickly made Justin take some pictures of this perfect moment. Once again, I was crying, which made Justin look at me with concern written all over his face. "Are you okay baby, is something hurting?" he asked while coming to sit down beside me. I shook my head and leaned back against my pillow. "Everything is absolutely perfect," I told him with trying my best to stop crying. "How about I go get us some food?" Justin asked a few minutes later. I nodded my head and thanked him by kissing him. Justin smiled and went over to Pattie and Beverly, he quickly kissed her forehead, then he left to get us some food. "How did the birth go?" Pattie asked as she sat down beside me with Beverly still in her arms. "It hurt a lot, but luckily I was able to get an epidural and that made everything easier," I told her while looking back at the crazy day we had had. "Trust me, I know that feeling! Justin was a pain in the ass to get out," she laughed, which made me laugh as well. "Isn't she just perfect, Pattie?" I asked my mother-in-law as we both stared at the beautiful girl in her arms.

It only took Justin 20 minutes to get us something to eat, and I immediately dug in as he placed the meal in front of me and moaned at the taste. Pattie was not hungry, or so she told us. She did not want anything to eat while she was still sitting with Beverly. It was almost like Beverly knew that I had finished eating because as soon as I packed the papers away, she started crying. At first, Pattie handed Beverly to Justin, and Justin decided to check if Beverly had delivered something in her diaper, which by the grimace on his face, it seemed like she had. I chuckled a little and slowly got out of bed. Since I was still very much sore and wearing a diaper myself, I walked very strangely; not sexy at all! I took Beverly out of Justin's arms and walked into the bathroom, where I gently placed her on the changing table and opened her bodystocking and diaper. I grimaced myself because of the smell, then I remembered that this would be my life the next few years, which made a smile creep onto my lips. I talked to Beverly while changing her diaper, and even though I did not get much response, I still loved talking to my daughter.

*2 days later*

We were finally allowed to leave the hospital. Justin had packed all our stuff while I had gotten Beverly and myself dressed for the day. Leaving the hospital seemed weird since I had almost gotten used to being in this little bobble with my family. To my dismay, the media had figured out that I had given birth, which meant a bunch of paparazzi was waiting for us outside. I held a sleeping Beverly close to my chest and covered her face with her duvet to make sure the flashes would not disturb her sleep. We slowly, but steadily, made our way through the crowd with Justin right behind us. "Y/N, JUSTIN, CAN WE SEE YOUR BABY?", "DID YOU HAVE A BOY OR A GIRL?", "DID YOU HAVE TWINS?" – the questions were many, and they were all very much ignored. I had never signed up for any of this, and I felt bad knowing that this would be a part of Beverly's life as well, but I ignored the feeling and focused on getting to our car. Justin quickly unlocked the car and helped me buckle up Beverly in her car seat, then we covered her back up, and I inside myself to sit beside her. Justin loaded the car with all the flowers and presents we had gotten in the past few days, then he got in himself and drove off immediately. "I wonder how they found out we were even there?" I told Justin as I also checked on Beverly to make sure she was still asleep. "I wonder that too," he told me, then we arrived home a few minutes later. Justin unloaded the car as I grabbed Beverly and went to unlock the door. The smell of home hit me almost immediately, and I enjoyed the fact that we were finally all alone. "Welcome home, baby girl," I told Beverly just as she woke up from her name. She started smacking her lips together, clearly indicating she was hungry, so I quickly took off my shoes and went into the living room to sit in our armchair. I placed Beverly in my lap as I opened my shirt and unhooked one of my bra straps, then I grabbed her and laid her to my breast, where she started eating right away. I leaned back in the chair and looked around the beautiful home we had created for ourselves, then Justin came into the room and smiled at the sight of us. "Baby, where do you want all the flowers?" he asked me while carrying an armful of flowers. "Wherever is just fine," I told him while scrunching my nose and smiling widely at him. Justin nodded, then he left and went to go get the last few things from the car, then he came back into the room with both his hands behind his back. "What are you hiding back there?" I curiously asked him, then I bit down on my lip and awaited his answer. "Okay, so I got you a little something because you were such a badass at giving birth to our daughter, but also because you blessed me with such a beautiful girl," he told me, then he pulled a small box out from behind his back and handed it to me. With my free hand, I tried to open the wrapper, but it did not work, so Justin laughed and helped me open it. Inside the box was a heart-shaped locket necklace with a picture of the three of us inside. The picture was taken at the hospital, but it was only minutes after I had given birth. Both Justin and I were staring intensely at the girl in my arms, both with huge smiles on our faces. The picture was perfect! "I had one of the nurses take a picture of us together for us to have as a memory of one of the craziest days of our lives," Justin explained as he stood up and walked behind me to help me put on the necklace. "Justin, did is gorgeous, thank you so much!" I cried as I realized the gesture he had made. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I told him as I pulled him towards me to kiss his lips. "Thank you for making me the happiest man alive," he then said in between our kisses.
