It had by now been 6 months since I last saw Justin. Justin is my husband, and he is a soldier, so he been stationed in North Carolina, and we lived in Florida, so even though I had all the possibilities to visit him, we had decided not to see each other that often, because we would miss each other way too much.
But luckily Justin would come home in a month or so, when I was going to give birth to our first born son.
Justin and I didn't have much money, so he decided to become a soldier and earn a lot of money for us to have, when our son would be born.
It was nice to know that Justin would do such thing for our future kids, and I honestly fell even more in love with him.
Today I was going to my second last ultrasound, just to make sure Justin and I's son was okay. Lately he had been kicking a lot, and it was actually hurting me, at least on the inside.
After getting out of bed I went into the bathroom and took a shower. I washed my hair and my body, then I got out and wrapped a towel around my body.
I tried to run some lotion on my legs, but it was really hard, so in the end I gave up and got dressed in a pair of Boyfriend jeans, a simple black tank top and a peachy colored long cardigan.
For shoes I wore a pair of white, low converse. My hair was in a cute, but messy bun and my makeup was as simple as it could get.
I grabbed my phone, then I went out to the kitchen to get some breakfast. I got a big bowl of cornflakes, then I sat down and waited for Justin to call me, he always called me around 10am, and I was really excited to talk to him today, because it had been a long time since I had heard his voice.
But weirdly enough he didn't call me, which made me frown. I sighed and finished my breakfast, then I out the bowl in the dishwasher and got ready to leave.
I grabbed my bag and my sunglasses, then I got into Justin and I's car and drove to the hospital.
I turned in, then I sat down and looked at my phone, no call from Justin, not even a text... I was furious, normally he would at least text me to inform me about him being busy or something, but this time nothing.
I locked my phone, then I placed my hands on my big belly, and randomly my little son started kicking. I smiled and rubbed, where he had kicked, then my name was called, so I slowly got up from the chair and went over to Dr. Mitchell, she smiled widely as she hugged me.
Dr. Mitchell, or Lee as she would want me to call her, had been a huge support throughout the last few months, where I really needed someone to be there for me.
"Hey Y/N, how have you been?" Lee asked as she smiled widely, normally she would never be smiling this much? I furrowed my eyebrows and smiled.
"I have been good, thank you for asking" I told her, then I laid down on the brix and pulled up my shirt, then Lee rubbed the gel on my belly and found the scanner.
"So, have you talked to Justin about names?" Lee asked as she looked at the screen, I sighed and shook my head.
"No, it's been awhile since we last talked" I mumbled, Lee nodded her head and looked at the screen once again.
"Well, everything looks good, but I need to check on something, so I'll be back in a few" Lee said, then she left the room. I pulled out my phone only to see nothing from Justin.
I groaned and locked me phone, then I looked up at the screen and saw my beautiful baby boy.
"I love you" I whispered my belly, then suddenly the door into the room opened, and a pair of green boots came into view.
I gasped as I saw Justin walk into the room followed by Lee. I really wanted to get up from the brix, but I just couldn't, my belly was way too big.
"Hey baby" Justin smiled, then he leaned down over me and placed his lips on mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him harder, I had missed him to much.
A tear sled down my cheek, but I didn't care!
"I missed you so much!" Justin whispered against my lips, I sobbed and pecked his lips once again.
"I missed you, too" I whispered. Justin pulled away from him and looked at him, he had changed so much throughout the last few months, it was like I couldn't even recognize him!
"You changed so much!" I told him, Justin chuckled and nodded his head.
"You have, too, you look so beautiful, and that belly really suits you" Justin told me, I laughed and playfully rolled my eyes.
"Oh yeah, because it looks so good to look fat" I told him, Justin shook his head and kissed my lips repeatedly.
"No, you really do look beautiful" he whispered, then sadly Lee interrupted us and smiled.
"I'm sorry to interrupt you guys, but I though Justin would like to see his son?" she asked, Justin nodded his head and sat down beside me, then he grabbed my hand and looked closely on the screen beside us. Lee grabbed the scanner and put it on my belly, then she moved it around until we were able to see our son perfectly. Justin was smiling widely, and you could see the smile was real, because his eyes were shining!
"Is this really our son?" he asked as he looked at me. I nodded my head and squeezed his hand.
"It really is" I told him, then Lee turned off the scanner and handed me some paper to dry my belly. After doing so Justin helped me up and pulled down my shirt. He grabbed my hand and pecked my lips, then he wrapped his arms around me and followed me out to our car, after we had said goodbye to Lee.
"So, when are you going back?" I asked Justin as we were on our way home.
"Next week, but I have something that I would like to talk to you about, when we get home" he said, I nodded my head, then I grabbed his hand and looked at him sweetly.
"I love you" I told him, which made him smile widely.
"Gosh I missed those word, and I love you, too" he said, I giggled, then soon after we arrived at home and went inside. We sat down on the couch, and Justin turned to look at me.
"So I have just gotten a promotion, which means that I will get a house close to work, my boss will pay all of it, and we can live there as long as we want to, for free, so I was wondering if you would like to move to North Carolina with me, I will be home all night and all morning, we will see each other every day.." Justin said, but I interrupted him by kissing him.
"You already had me at promotion" I told him afterwards, Justin chuckled, then he nuzzled his head in between my, occasionally bigger, boobs and smiled widely.
"I missed you to much" he said, then he placed a kiss on my belly.
This was going to be amazing...
