It was the next day and I felt like going outside and exploring the modern world some more. When I got out of bed and got took a bath then getting dressed and changing my appearance to look human, I realized that I can't just leave without Randy not knowing where I went off to.
I left a note on the table saying where I would be going.

'Randy I left to go explore the town, I'll be back after a while.
-E'

When I was outside I strolled down the street. It felt weird to walk among mortals. There hasn't been one human being who gave me dirty looks or boo',d me because of who I was. Maybe it's because I didn't look like my real self. I was disguised as one of them. I like the fact that for once the attention I was getting was not negative at all. I liked it but I was not used to feeling like I belonged somewhere.

"Hi ya new girl!", Some guy was waving at me while watering grass with some long rope tube.

I just stared at him in shock. No one  has ever greeted me politely before, except Sfiga back on Olympus.

This positive attitude that the people here have towards me is making me feel like I'm not a freak or a monster.

Then I remembered to do something polite...thing is I've never really done it because I felt like I had no reason to. I waved back.

I kept walking until I saw some girls standing by this open field called a park. I recognized one of the girls who I had met on my first day at the high school. I think her name was... Debbie Kang?

I walked over to her while she was talking to another girl with short purple hair.

"Um hi", I greeted while waving awkwardly.

"Oh hi! I remember you! You're that new girl", Debbie looked really excited to see me.

"Can I...?" I pointed to the bench to sit next to her.

"Sure!"

As I sat down they just kept smiling at me.

"Hi I'm Theresa", the short haired girl extended her hand for a handshake.

"Debbie told me a lot about you but she never got your name".

Aww dang... I never introduced myself to Debbie. I can't tell them my real name, if I did then they'd know I was the one helping out the Ninja. Then they would ask me if I knew who the Ninja was. I can't reveal who he really is then Randy might never forgive me.

"Hello? Earth to new girl?" Debbie was still waiting for me to tell them my name.

"My name is...",come on Eris! Think of a normal name! "My name is...is Elliona".

I just hope they bought it. I just thought of a normal Greek name.

"Elliona? That sounds like a Greek name...are you from Greece?"

"Yes", I answered.

"Do you know anything about Eris? I know she's a goddess from Greek mythology but maybe you could tell me why she would help the Ninja? It doesn't make sense...".

"What do you mean?"

"I read that she doesn't care about anyone but herself".

"What?! Where did you read that?"

"I read it from a book about Greek mythology. All Eris cares about is making everyone on earth miserable", Debbie clearly didn't know what I've been through... whoever wrote that about me did NOT do their research on anyone back at mount Olympus.

"Well whoever wrote that should check their facts".

"I don't know about that but I also read that she helped the god of war make two kingdoms fight each other to the death".

"Ugh the thought of Eris teaming up with a narcissist God is like a nasty food combination".

"You seem to know a lot about Eris...are you the goddess of chaos and discord", Debbie teased.

I started laughing nervously. "What? No! But I wish though..."

Suddenly it started to snow. What the juice? Oh great now I'm talking like everyone in this town.

"That's strange, it's not supposed to snow until December", Theresa asked curiously.

She was right, back in Greece it would only snow earlier than usually when my mother summoned...great cheese!

"Debbie, Theresa, we need to go back home".

"What! Why?" Theresa was confused.

"No time! We need to get out of here NOW!"

Then there was a loud screeching. Like a bird's screech.

"You guys need to hide...NOW!"
