After Ninja smoke bombed both of us out of the building, I looked back feeling worried.

"Haha! Yeah son! We defeated Circle and now we can relax...hey Eris?"

I was lost in thought of what just happened...sure we won the battle but we haven't won a war we both just started with Circe.

"Eris? You okay?"

"Let's just go"

~~Time skip~~

It was only two days later and Randy and Howard were so relaxed as if they were living normal lives. I won't lie, even I started hoping that we wouldn't see her again.

Then I realized something:
How was Randy not really surprised when we faced Circe? How was he so confident? Had he already faced sorcerers or enchantresses before her?

"Earth to Goddess!" Howard waved his hand in my face. The second I snapped out of my thoughts I noticed they were looking at me with concern all over their faces.

"Hmm?" That was all I could reply with.

"What the juice Eris? Were you even listening to anything I said?" Howard asked looking irritated.

"I think it's a miracle she couldn't hear us at all I mean what you were talking shouldn't be heard by girls", Randy smirked.

"So I'm guessing you guys don't have a lot of female friends? Or am I the first girl to hang out with you two?"

The boys just looked at each other and Randy was about to respond to that but Howard beat him to it.

"Well Eris we have tons of ladies wanting to hang with us, we're sort of popular here...".

"Really? If that's the truth then why hasn't a single girl come to our table yet?" I mocked.

"You're sitting with us", Randy pointed out.

"Yeah but that's only because I don't have any other friends".

"Well then you better start joining our conversations instead of daydreaming about Cunningham".

"Howard! I told you a hundred times already, there's nothing going on between us!" Randy was blushing hard when he said that.

"...I was thinking about Circe and what we should do next in case she returns".

"Just relax we'll deal with her when she shows her face again but she probably won't. Besides you two know how to deal with this kinda stuff", Howard tried to reassure me.

"Bu–".

"Eris...everything's gonna be fine".

I sighed thinking that maybe their right.

When school was over the three of us walked home but Randy and Howard were whispering to each other.

"Is there anything you're whispering about that I should know of?" I said as I turned around to face them.

Randy was suddenly panicking. Howard just smirked. "Actually yes. Randy has something he'd like to say to you". He pushed him to me and he almost fell down but he regained balance. He turned to Howard with an irritated look but the turned back at me.

"So...Eris, I was... thinking if...well you don't have to... but if you want to...we... could...go–".

Suddenly there was a flash coming from inside Randy's house.

"That can't be good", Howard stated.

We all went inside and what we all saw together was shocking for the boys but interesting for me.

They ran for cover and pulled me down with them.

"What the juice is happening?!" Randy shouted.

What we all saw looked like a portal forming. But it was very bright. It kept getting brighter and brighter until everything went dark.

Randy emerged from the couch we were all hiding behind and took a peek. He quickly hid behind the couch. He looked a little freaked out.

"What did you see?" I whispered.

"I don't know what the honk I just saw",he replied.

We all suddenly heard groaning. We poked our heads out from behind the couch. Howard was shocked at what he saw but I couldn't stop myself from smiling.
