Eris and her ninja

Chapter 4

I woke up in the morning and found myself in a room. It looked a little messy. I got out of bed and roamed around. Mortals have changed their rooms,beds and what is that big rectangle thing? I found a weird looking black contraption. I pressed the red dot and the the big black rectangle in front of me must have magically opened because it showed a woman who was being attacked by a monster. I freaked out. I was about to run to the door when a young mortal came out with something in his mouth. I was screaming out of fear. He put both hands on my shoulders.

"Calm down. What is it?" He looked concerned.

I hid behind him and pointed at the monster on the box device.

"What the T.V?"

I didn't know it was called that but I just nodded.

The boy sighed. He walked up to the TV and made it go blank.

"Why do mortals have that thing?!" I was struggling to understand this new era.

"Its for fun. Gives us information. And without it we wouldn't survive. Well not literally but you know what I mean."

I just stared at him blankly.

"So you coming?" He said putting on his shoes.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"School", he answered.

"Your school? I can't go."

"Why?"

I pointed at myself so he would realise my appearance would obviouslu attract way too much unwanted attention.

"Ah...well you're a goddess. Don't you have the power to change your look?"

"Oh." I face palmed myself.

I was about to transform but then I realised I couldn't do it with him watching.

I went to the bathroom and closed the door behind me.

Then I tried to transform into a normal teenager. I opened my eyes and I looked at my arm. My skin turned from purple to the lightest shade of brown. I looked in the mirrior and I noticed that my hair was dark brown. My eyes were still goldish but I was fine with it.

"Eris is everything-" Ninja walked in still looked like a teenager and took a quick look then covered his eyes.

It was then that I realized I wasn't wearing anything.

"GET OUT!!" I pushed him away and shut the door. I was so embarrased. I cant believe someone saw me naked.

"Uh I'll get you some of my mom's clothes." He said before leaving the room.

I just sat on the floor with my hands on my head.

He came back with some clothes. It was a good thing it was in black and goldish yellow, my favourite colours. When I put them on I found that I was wearing a white vest with a black jacket and a black skirt. The shades were a gold colour. My shoes were black but high heels.

I walked out and I kinda found it funny that he was trying to not look at me in case I wasn't wearing anything.

I rolled my eyes. "You can look now".

He turned around and noticed that I looked different.

"You look...".

"Normal? Yeah...".

He walked up to me. I didn't know what he was about to do. We were only inches apart. I thought he was going to kiss me. It felt...uncomfortable. I was going to kick him until I felt the back of my hair was untied.

I saw that he was holding the band that I used to keep my hair from reaching to my knees or lower.

"C'mon Rapunzel. We need to go".
