Early afternoons in camp Wawanakwa can be pretty boring if you couldn't figure out what to do. Me... I took to knitting in the afternoons, if Duncan doesn't have other things for me to occupy my time.

Today I chose to wear something simple, black t-shirt and jeans with my sneakers, nothing fancy. My hair was pulled back from my face with a clip, and my make up was light and my glasses were on today, as I didn't want to fight with my contacts this morning.

Currently I was sitting on the porch of the Bass/Guys cabin with a tarp draped on the wood underneath me to prevent the wood catching on the yarn of my project. Duncan was with me but was taking a nap with his head resting on my lap under the edge of my blanket.

I could see Heather and Lindsey sitting together on the Gopher/Girls porch, both enjoying Heather's reward from the previous night. I just shook my head and went back to what I was doing, shifting my hands slightly up to prevent them from resting on Duncan's head.

My punk boyfriend wasn't exactly in the best place for me to comfortably knit, but it wasn't too bad. His face softened when he was asleep, and I won't admit it outloud, but I really like the goat-tee, he had going on, it suited his face.

{I wonder when Chris is going to sick us with another challenge. Everyone is getting antsy.. there's only so many of us now, and anyone could get voted off at any time. I just hope Heather doesn't gain immunity again, because I-I... well I currently don't know what I'm going to do, but it's not going to be good.}

An hour later Chris had us congregate on the docks so that he could tell us all about our new challenge, hopefully it's an easy one. Especially if he's calling us again after yesterday's adventure, usually it takes him and the interns a couple of days to set up for the next challenge.

He stood facing us, with his back to the island. "Today's challenge is a good, old-fashioned game of hide-and-seek."

{We're playing hide-and-seek? Did Chris forget to plan something good or is there going to be a weird twist that will make the game hard.}

Chris points at us with a grin on his face, "You all get ten minutes to hide before Chef Hatchet comes looking for you. With his military background and advance degree in man hunting, he's uniquely qualified to make this game excruciatingly hard."

{There it is. ^points at the camera^ After spending so many weeks in the company of Chris it's become very easy to tell when something is going to be made harder for us.}

We all look over at Chef and he pulls a super soaker water-gun from behind his back, pumping it a couple. "Hi Chef," I wave a little nervously knowing the older man is going to have fun hunting us down.

"What's with the water gun?" Duncan asks and a red dot lights up in the middle of his forehead, his eyes crossing to look at it. I shake my head at him not wanting to make Chef angry before we've even started today's challenge.
