* Jesse *

After a short drive, which consisted of me sneaking quick glances at the beautiful girl sitting next to me while she stared silently out the window, we pulled up in front of her house.

The single storey red brick house was surrounded by a perfectly manicured yard and a cliched white picket fence. I would have said we arrived at her home, but even without having set a foot in the place it was easy to tell the perfectly kept house was just a facade, that this place wouldn't ever feel like much of a home.

Getting out the car I walked around to help her up, once again slipping my arm around her body to support her weight as we made our way slowly to the front door.

I tried to ignore the fact that the areas of my skin that came in contact with hers were on fire.

I tried to ignore just how soft her skin felt and how her hair smelled like coconuts and ocean waves.

I tried to ignore the fact that her feisty and foul mouth was actually an incredible turn on.

I tried to ignore the fact that the anger and numbness that constantly haunted me had seemed to have faded while I was with her.

I didn't know what was going on, I barely knew this girl. That was an understatement, hell I'd only met her not even thirty minutes ago.

'Fuck Jesse, get your shit together' I silently scolded myself as we stood before her front door.

I looked up at the house and noticed not a single light was on in the place. While Catherine fumbled with her keys in the lock, I casually glanced over at the driveway and noticed mine was the only car here.

'Anybody else home?' I asked curiously, although hearing it out loud I instantly regretted asking.

Here I was with some random girl I'd only just met, at night, at her house, asking if she was alone.

Fuck I sounded like a creep!

I tried to hide my cringing face as I expected to hear a tirade of accusations unleashed from her fiery mouth, but she just shrugged as she opened the door and tried to hobble inside.

As she flipped on a light switch I finally got to take in the full view of her body.

Fuck. Me.

I was in awe.

To say she was stunning was an understatement.

My eyes lustily travelled along the toned, tanned muscles of her calves and up along her thighs. As my eyes took in the seductive curves of her ass I could feel an instant twinge in my pants.

'Once you've had a good enough look you mind helping me to the couch?' She asked in a matter of fact tone as she eyed me curiously. Not seeming to care that I was so blatantly checking her out.

'Hmm...sure...' I replied, stumbling over my words like a bloody moron.

I once again wrapped my arm around her shoulders and guided her towards the couch, she plopped down into the cushions and instantly turned her focus towards her injured ankle.

From where I was standing I could see her ankle was puffy and bruises had already started to form. I silently turned and went searching for the kitchen.

As I walked through the house, I noted it was nice enough. That like the exterior it was neat and tidy but the whole place lacked any real personal touches, like I had already guessed it wasn't much of a home.

After a few short moments I found the kitchen and went straight to the freezer. I pulled out an ice pack and wrapped it in a hand towel that I found hanging neatly on a rack on the wall before I started searching through the cupboards looking for a first aid kit.
