Beep beep beep
'Shiiiittt' I groaned, pulling a pillow over my head.
Beep beep beep
'Seriously' I groaned louder as my hand searched blindly for the source of my discontent.
Beep beep beep
I finally found my phone, turning the alarm off before I threw it at the wall.
Happy that I finally had silence I buried my pounding head back into my pillow.
Wait.
How the fuck did I end up in my bed.
I slowly sat up, rubbing my eyes, trying to ignore the pain in both my head and ankle.
'How the hell did I end up here?' I asked myself extremely confused, my mind flashing back to hazy images of a bottle of booze and me passing out on the floor like the classy girl that I am.
Joe.
Images of Joe flashed before my eyes as I practically leapt out of bed. Ignoring any pain my body felt as I searched frantically through my closet for the little box that held my only pictures of him.
Having found the box and confirming I hadn't destroyed any of its contents I leaned against the wall and slumped to the floor.
Feeling my eyes start to burn I squeezed them shut only for my head to start spinning.
'I think I'm still drunk' I sighed to myself clutching the little box tightly to my chest.
Before I could give it anymore thought I heard a knock at my front door.
Curious as to who it might be, I pulled myself up off the floor and stumbled my way down the hall to the front door.
Opening it, you wouldn't believe my surprise when a pair of deep green eyes met my gaze.
'Uhhh hi...' I mumbled before quickly falling on my ass.
Yep, definitely still drunk.
'Hey.. shit... you ok?' Jesse asked, his voice full of concern.
'Why are you here? And why are you wearing my school uniform?' I replied, my mind still foggy from the alcohol.
'Shit girl, does it look like I'm wearing a skirt?' He asked with a small sigh, before reaching down and pulling me to my feet.
I studied him carefully, realising that he in fact wasn't wearing my clothes.
'So we go to the same school huh?' I asked, as a drunken hiccup escaped my lips.
'I guess we do' he chuckled as he pushed his way past me and walked inside.
'Sure... come on in...' I responded under my breath, unable to hide my annoyance as I hobbled behind him.
My eyes followed his every move as I watched him walk into my kitchen with an air of familiarity that I found unsettling. Jesse then proceeded to grab a glass out of the cupboard and fill it with water, his every action was filled with such confidence it made it seem like he'd done this a million times before.
'Here. Drink this' he grumbled in a gruff tone, thrusting the glass of water towards me.
'Thanks' I mumbled, eyeing the green eyed boy cautiously, still not quite sure what the fuck he was doing here in my house, in my kitchen.
He just shrugged, seeming to sense my unease as he stepped closer to me, his eyes not breaking my gaze.
Not wanting to allow this stranger any further into my personal space I went to take a step back, completely forgetting that I had a sprained ankle as it gave way beneath me and I fell on my backside once again.
