~ Amity's POV~
There is darkness all around me.
Four sides to what looks to me is a room. This room is pitch black, the ceiling so high it looks like the room itself is just one whirlpool of a hazy darkness. Such darkness transcends, I can't even see anything from above, or even below. A foul smell reaches my nostrils, as I inhale the sickening carbon dioxide. Whatever happened to me, I got to get out of here. Reaching my right hand out, feeling where the wall meets my hand, I walk straight, hoping to reach the wall. The walk seems to go on for an infinite leaving me wonder if my kidnapper really wanted this to be some sort of puzzle I was opted to go through.
This wasn't just some choice that my kidnapper had made in order to make me suffer more than I have already, this was madness.
" No way out, I see? I guess this trap will have to go through me!" I say to myself, thankful that I could speak the human language for the time being.
Once a dhatin's heart stops beating, is when they could no longer speak the human tongue. No longer could they utter words, nor feel any pain.
They would feel numb.
And, as if on cue, I reach a side of the wall. When my hand finds the wall, I lay the palm of my hand on the gritty walls. I immediately start dragging my hand as far as it could go high up. Well, that sucks. They really didn't have a lightswitch from down below.
Feeling something sticky from the wall, I scratch my claws through the stickiness, only to find my entire hand wallowed in goo. When I finally break free of the goo that's stuck between my fingers, I continue to reach my right hand out midair and find the end of this side of the wall. However, the more that I slide my hands across the walls, more goo continues to get stuck between my fingers and nails, causing the skin that separates each of my fingers to stick together.
Ouch, that hurts like hell.
Persisting through the end of the wall, I find that once I reached the end of the wall, there is nothingness. Air or a gap between space as what one may call it. When I reach out for balance from the other side of another "wall", I see that my feet slip, causing me to plument below.
Free falling into the vast dark sky, I hear a loud thud as I feel my ankle sprain from the journey. This journey of me, a dhatin who already hasn't eaten all day, has grown frailer by the moment and weaker by existence. For us Blights, the more human flesh we consumed in a day, we were less shrunken and grew immensely in height and strength.
Strength has lost grip of my hold, as I desperately try with all my might to help myself up.
Looking around, I see the nothingness once more, another pitch black room admist in my presence. It's like I've been dunked into a sea full of nothingness, and I was.
Weird.
As I double check to make sure that there are walls in this room, I see that there is only one wall, the one that mirrors the other from the room that I fell off from, a wall filled with goo that burned my fingers and made them stuck together in misery. So, that means there isn't four walls in any of these rooms.
And again, no lightswitch.
Strange.
Is there another way out?
No, there probably isn't.
But, I had to try... Right?
"Wow, there you go again Amity, being emotional. Think, think, think!" I start to mutter to myself, and then I hear a sound of gunshots fire at the back of me. They ring in my ears, causing me to whimper in pain from the sound. I knew it, these daemons called humans caught me... Wait, actually...
