~Amity's POV~

The voice was none other than the man on the speaker. This voice is slow and angry at the beginning, but judging by its raise in voice after the servant next to him starts mumbling, his voice erupts in a fury of rage. Like a wave that evolves over time, this voice is powerful with every grasp in his harsh, disturbed words. Words that the voice sputtered, and spat upon the servant.

Why?

Isn't there already enough violence in this world?

I need to know what's going on. However, Kersen muffled my urge to speak; cupping his right hand on my mouth, as if to utter a word is to call for a death sentence.

" Shhh. If you don't want to be dead, you better stay low. You hear? That man will stop at nothing to get you aboard on the train to be dismissed." Kersen warned, and looked at me with worried eyes.

Why is he so worried that I'd be dismissed?

And what does he mean... By being dismissed?

" I want to make this clear Jerold: if you don't find dhatin #316, the dismissal will be even more delayed than it already is! The train stations boarding to Malaysia close at 6:00 sharp. Do you hear me? Find. That. Dhatin. Now!!" An impatient voice boomed nearby, scolding the servant beside him.

" But sir, it has seemed that dhatin #316 has escaped, and is nowhere to be found! A few other servants and I have seen footsteps leading outside of the torture room, but are unable to find where the rest of the footsteps-" The servant talked fast and anxiously, as if the finding of dhatin #316 is dependant upon his life.

The torture room? Was that the place I was kept in a few hours ago?

" What do you mean? The dhatin has escaped! That's nearly impossible! Unless... Someone forgot to turn on the devices."

" T-t-the d-devices?"

" Yes. The devices." Slowly, the man raised his voice in a angry, distraught tone of voice, making the click of his tongue on edge.

" You forgot to turn on the devices to activate the torture room, didn't you, Jerold?"

" ..."

"Answer me. Did you forget? Or did you simply not turned them on purpose?" The man says this in a rather calm matter all of a sudden. And this type of calm tone of voice is perhaps the worst kind of evil.

Yes, evil.

I've heard of many members of the Berserker Insurgency say that some of their members where stolen and sent to the ORBV...

I recall the prime dhatin telling me about this type of evil. An evil, according to them, is dreaded upon and is worth cowering over in misery. What so aren't we all monsters here?  Why is it that our kind is rallying against the Jenglots for no apparent reason?

Well.... Maybe it's because the Jenglots are much too blind by their wealth that they have the urge to believe that they are one with the humans and Vampires.

" It's a place where Jenglots experiment on dhatins of Blight, a terrible place it is!"

" They think that just because the humans have had more attacks from our kind that they can just take our kind to slaughter camps..."

" Did you know? Some say that when there's no food left, the man who runs the ORBV and his son use the dead bodies of the Blights as substitute for their usual meals! Can you imagine that? Cannibals they are."
