I blinked hard as the light hit my eyes. I was moving. I opened my eyes slowly to see that I was in the car. I shot up and looked around. Denver was driving. I looked down to see if I was in my pajamas. I felt my hair and yawned. He looked at me and laughed.

"You wouldn't get up, so Heather and your mom put you in your pajamas and packed you a bag. Your toothbrush and stuff are in the pouch in the back seat. They said you can do it when you wake up," Denver informed. I grabbed the brush and carefully untangled my hair. I set the pouch in my lap. I sighed and slouched back down against the seat. I closed my eyes and relaxed. Denver parked the car and came around to the passenger side. He opened the door and waited for me to get out. I held my arms out lazily.

"Will you carry me?" I mumbled. He laughed and scooped me up in a cradle. I held the pouch in my hand. I set my head against his shoulder. I closed my eyes and waited for the bright sun to go away. We were soon covered by the shadows and dim lights of the hall. I could hear voices getting closer. I opened one eye to look around. We finally emerged into the open makeup stations. I could see a blur of people moving around. I finally just closed my eyes again.

"Is she okay?" I heard a voice ask. It was Teddy.

"Yeah, just tired," Denver answered softly. I could hear the other voices in the room start to quiet down to hear their conversation.

"Here, I'll take her to the waiting room so she can rest a bit before we get started." Teddy offered. Denver tensed, but he handed me over reluctantly. I dropped my pouch. I heard Denver pick it up. The noises were slowly disappearing. I could feel a soft cushion form underneath me. I heard Teddy sigh.

"I will always love you Leah," I heard him say a bit mournfully. He kissed my lips gently and left. I opened my eyes slowly and sat up once I heard him go back onto the stage. He loved me? Why didn't I know that before? I ran my fingers through my hair carefully. I sat there for as long as I could stand. I stood up and slowly walked back to the makeup room. I was still thinking about Teddy. Denver saw my and held me.

"What's wrong?" he whispered. I shook my head. I forced a smile.

"I'm fine. Still a little tired though," I answered. I sat at my makeup station while I looked over the script. My lines were fairly easy. It was just your normal first day of high school stuff. I kept glancing over at Teddy. He caught me once and smiled. I quickly looked down blushing. I memorized my lines quickly and slid a hoodie over my head. I was supposed to wear it to hide that I was pregnant in the show. How ironic. I sat still while the stylist curled my hair and did my makeup. I laughed when I saw Teddy sneaking a camera around the corner. I stuck my tongue out at him and looked forward. They finished my hair and makeup shortly after. I went over my lines one more time. We were going to be shooting at an actual high school. The students there would play extras. We all hopped into a van to get there. Teddy video taped me the whole time. I smiled and laughed. Denver was sitting next to me. I could tell that he didn't like it. He was tense and he wouldn't look at Teddy.

"Turn the camera off," I laughed putting my hand in front of the camera. He finally turned it off and set it down. I watched him carefully. He was smiling, but there was agony in his eyes. He was hurting? I quickly let it go when we reached the school. Everyone went about their business until they saw us. I had a lot of girls come up to me and ask about the baby. I answered their questions happily. I had a faint blush on my cheeks. Denver stood behind me and had his hands on my stomach. The girls were giggling and asking questions about me, where I was, and Denver. Teddy called us and we had to go. We said goodbye and went inside. Everyone was told to go about their business like they would any other day. The cameras set up around the school. Denver got by as an extra. As soon as I hear 'action' I held my fake schedule up and looked around confused. I turned suddenly only to run into Teddy.

"Oh I'm sorry," he said right on cue. He picked up my papers and handed them to me. He looked stunned; right on cue. "I-I'm James." I shook his hand and smiled.

"I'm Rylan," I answered a little timidly.

"You must be new," he smiled. I nodded. We started walking in the direction of the camera. The second camera turned. "So you have History first; me too. I can show you where it is." He walked and talked to me while I stayed quiet. We sat down when we reached the class. The director yelled 'cut' and the actors stood up and waited for the end of the period. Denver handed me a bottle of water.

"I thought you hated the spotlight," he laughed. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Plus, have you read the script? James is Rylan's love interest."

"I saw that," I sighed. "If you want me to stop, I will, but it's just acting. None of it is real." He smiled and pulled me close. He kissed me. I saw the cameras go off, but I didn't care. I put one arm around his neck. I leaned back as we kissed. I released and smiled. Teddy tapped me on the shoulder. I smiled and released my grip on Denver. I knew what tomorrow's story would be. They wanted to try and shoot the rest of the episode today. I went to my spot. We finished the day with it done. It was a lot of fun, much to my surprise. We rode back to the studio together again. Teddy left the camera off. He looked a little disappointed. I let it go. I left my hair in the curls. I took the hoodie off carefully and talked to the other people who were in the show.

"Are you going to the club with the others?" Nicole asked. I smiled and put my hand on my stomach.

"I don't think that would be a good idea," I smiled. "Are you going?" She shook her head.

"No, everyone is talking about it, but I don't want to go. I think I'll go home," she sighed. Denver walked over and held me like he did the day before.

"Why don't you come over to my house dinner tonight?" I suggested. She smiled.

"Sounds like fun," she said. Teddy was coming over too. My parents invited him.
