Chapter 21

Makoto's POV

I stayed with Byakuya the rest of the day, reassuring him that everything would be fine, even if I wasn't so sure about it myself.

I still can't really forgive myself for slapping a girl but, she kind of deserved it. Outting someone out without that person's permission is almost unforgivable.

I might forgive her one of these days, if the rumors don't get out. If they do? I'll probably never speak to her again.

Neither will Byakuya.

I left Byakuya's house around 10 pm.
We had lost track of time.
I hurried back home, knowing that Komaru was some what worried. I forgot to text her to tell her where I was...

I reached into my pocket and grabbed my keys. I unlocked the front door and quietly went up the stairs to my room.

I threw everything onto my bed and ran out into the hallway, to Komaru's room.

I should tell her everything....

I knocked on the door. "Komaru?"
The door opened and Komaru pulled me in.

She placed both of her hands on my shoulders. I shrunk down a bit. "Where were you" She said staring right at me.
"I-I um, it's complicated."

She let go of me and crossed her arms. "We have time. Explain"

Why is she acting like she's older?

"I'm pretty sure you heard about the rumors that have been going around a day or two right?" I started. She nodded. "And you know Sayaka right?"
She nodded again.
"Well Sayaka photoshopped some...interesting images and showed them to my class...and he kind of had a mental breakdown because he can lose his entire company just because of a rumor...I had to comfort him for a few hours..."

Komaru gasped. "Sayaka did that?!"

She walked over to her bedroom wall and ripped off a poster of Sayaka's band and threw it out the window. "There we go. Trash goes out the window."

"Komaru that's littering."
"Shut up!"

I ran out of her room before she started to throw things around. I ran into my room and locked the door.
I grabbed my phone and went to text Sayaka.

M: Sayaka
M:Sayaka we need to talk.
S: What...
M: Why did you do all of this.
S: i was jealous...
M: Jealous of who?
S: Jealous if your relationship with Byakuya! I happend to come across your confession of yours, which made me angry.
M: you saw that?!
S: yeah
M:so you spread rumors that can destroy a million dollar company.
S: yeah...
M: We need to talk about this in person. Can you meet infront of school in an hour.
S: ok.
M: I'll see you then.

I turned off my phone. She spread all of that because she was jealous?!

I went back to Komaru and told her where I was going. She cheered me on and told me to expose her. I nodded and quickly left. Komaru can be scary sometimes.
I ran out the doors of the house.

I arrived at the gate of Hopes peak and waited.

After a few minutes I saw Sayaka slowly trudge over to me.
"Hey Makoto..." She said. She didn't make eye contact with me and stared at the floor. "Sayaka...are you at least sorry"

She stayed quiet before nodding.
"You know your going to have to apologise to Byakuya."

Sayaka looked back at me in shock.
"I can't do that!" She yelled.
"Why?!" I said, starting to get angry.
"He's going to tell everyone and ruin my image!"
"But that what you did to him!"
"..."

I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down. "If you don't I'll ruin your image myself."

She stayed quiet after that.

"So will you. We can go meet up tomorrow before school and you can formally apologise to him, and the class."

"Your going to have to explain that you photoshopped those images, and tried to ruin Byakuya's reputation on purpose."

"You know what will happen if you don't."

Sayaka took a step back and nodded quickly.

"You can go home now Sayaka."

She gave a small goodbye and ran of as fast as she could.

I checked the time and realized it was 10 pm. Time really went by fast.
I started my walk home and thought about my words to Sayaka. Was I too hard on her? She did kind of deserve it though.
I guess I'll think about forgiving her if she does what I told her to do.

I kinda feel bad for not updating in three days. I know most people update like once a week or sometimes a month!

But still.......Please forgive me!!!

Sorry if I made any typos, i couldnt find the charger to my computer and had to use my phone.

I'm also too lazy to edit. I normally edit, but this chapter was like 1000 words which is more than I usually do.
