A Battle Between Rivals

[As Dakon made his way into the monitoring room he took in the many video feeds showing different angles of the training building. As he went to stand by Ashido and Kirishima, who both waved and silently greeted him, he heard All Might call out to the teams to start the battle.]

All Might: ALRIGHT LETS BEGIN THE INDOOR COMBAT TRAINING! TEAM A AND TEAM D YOUR TIME STARTS NOW! (Now addressing the students in the room.) Pay attention kids think about what you would do.

Dakon: (Thoughts) Well...if it were me I would probably have sensed the villains' energy and gone straight to where they were holding the nuke. That won't work for Midoriya and Uraraka so looks like they're stuck doing it the old fashioned way.

[As Dakon thinks this he sees Midoriya and Uraraka climbing through a window as they silently start searching for the nuke.]

Dakon: There you go...just watch your back in there bud.

[Ashido seeing the nervous look on Dakon's face reaches to grab his arm. He turns to look at her smiling face as she tries to reassure him that it will be fine. Dakon gives a small grin and a nod as he turns back to watch the screen.]

Dakon: (Thoughts) Ashido is right...they'll be ok. I just...I have a bad feeling about this.

[As Dakon continues to watch Midoriya and Uraraka's progress he suddenly senses a spike in someone's energy as a big attack is being prepared.]

Dakon:(Thoughts) What?...Oh crap that's Bakugo. (He watches as Midoriya and Uraraka close in on where Bakugo was waiting to spring his trap.) No! No no no he's waiting for you both. Get out of there! (Mentally screaming) MIDORIYA!!! MOVE!!!

[To Dakon's relief Midoriya suddenly jolts only to grab Uraraka and pull her out of the way of an emerging Bakugo as he releases a powerful blast into the wall they were next to.]

Mineta: Huh he almost got the jump on him.

Kirishima: Sneak attack Bakugo! What kinda man pulls cheap crap like that?

All Might: It's a viable strategy. He's playing the part acting like a true villain would.

Ashido: But it didn't work Midoriya dodged it.

Dakon: Yeah...but now they've lost the element of surprise. They'll have to come up with something fast.

Kaminari: Look! There he goes!

[Everyone watches the screen as they see Bakugo charge Midoriya with a big right hook aimed for his face.]
