The Miracle We Met

Chapter 5 - A Small Concert

I was happy after observing their expression. They were really mesmerized by the scenic beauty of the ghat.

"There are many ghats along the side of the river. You will find the name of each ghat written over the buildings. Let's go" We started coming down from the stairs and started walking along the ghat. That day it was not so cold. Sun was playing constantly with the clouds. The bright sunlight was just adding beauty to the site.

We all were walking, I don't know where I will make them stop. They were busy clicking pics of the river, people and old monuments lying along the ghats.

"Hey, Can we sit now?" Suho asked as he was a bit tired.

"Just walk a bit, there is a famous tea stall. We will order tea and sit somewhere. Bear a bit." I said.

We reached the stall within 2 mins. I was looking around where we could sit.

"Upstairs there" Chanyeol pointed out the place.

It was a raised platform, we could reach there after going crossing some stairs. I looked at the place, I was tired enough.

So I said,"You two proceed. Let me order some tea, they will deliver it there. Lemon tea? Will it be alright? Do you want Maggie too?? It's like simple ramyeon.."

"Yes, sure.." both agreed.

I ordered 3 lemon tea and 3 bowl Maggie, showed them the place where I would be sitting. They said it will take 15 mins. I returned back to them.

They were already watching everyone passing by, looking at River Ganga and the sky as they were on the raised platform the view was quite good. They were looking so peaceful. They removed their masks and were looking relieved.  I just sat besides Suho on that platform.

"It's so peaceful over here"Suho said.

"Although you can see many people moving downstairs but still you are not getting distracted by them." Chanyeol said

"This is the best view so far" I replied.

We all sat in silent as if we were already conversing with the nature.

After a few minutes, Suho said "By the way, who were those people chasing you yesterday?"

"They were my brothers, one of them was my cousin brother."

"Hyung, I told you something fishy is there with her" Chanyeol reacted

"Why you were hiding from them?" Suho asked calmly.

"Yesterday, I gave my interview in BHU for PhD admission. I didn't do well. Although I did prepare very hard but still.. it was my 2nd chance. I'm not able to see my future ahead now. I can't wait for another 6 months for admission. I don't want to be burden anymore on my parents. So I just needed some time alone to think what to do next. I went to Sarnath alone, I switched off my phone so they got worried. One of my cousin sister must have told them that I may be hanging around Sarnath, so they came searching for me."

"Still you should have gone back home with them" Chanyeol said by looking at the sky.

"I still need some time." I said with my head down.

Our ordered came by then. Chanyeol took the tea and bowl and passed on. We all took the first sip together..wow.. it took away all our tiredness at a blink of the eye.

I asked them to try Maggie. They tasted it and I was glad they liked it too. "Can I have some more?" Chanyeol asked

"Sure, when he will come for collecting the glasses and bowl, you can just tell him. He will bring again."

"How did you know us?" Suho asked again

"Exo Next Door, I somehow saw the clips of the series. I watched it in one day coz it was just a short series. That's how I got to know about you all. I searched for your songs on YouTube, your videos, stalked you on Instagram..and now I'm a big Exols."

"Ohk that's good" both of them smiled.

"Then you must be having one bias too. I think every fangirl has." Chanyeol asked

'No not this question. I don't want to answer this.'

"Actually I love every member as a whole. It's really difficult to choose any one." I replied

They smiled again.
By that time one more set of lemon tea and bowl of Maggie came. We started feeding ourselves again.

I looked at the watch it was 1 pm by now. I received a call from one of my friend. I excused myself and went to take the call.

When I returned, they asked, "I can see quite young people here. Is there any college or university near by?"Chanyeol guessed it right again.

"Oh yes!! The university which I was talking about its not that far from here. If you want we can go tomorrow there."

"Cool"Suho agreed

"Why some of them are gathering there? I guess someone is sitting with a guitar there" Chanyeol said.
Suho and I too looked in that direction.

"Let's go and see"

We stood up and as we were coming downstairs, one young boy (he was around 20-21, still younger to me) came and gave me a drawing sheet, "Di, look at this"

I took the sheet, "Wow" he drew all three of us sitting on that raised platform upstairs and looking toward the direction of the river.

"Awesome" they too looked at it.

"Can we have it? I will pay"
Chanyeol said

"Sure" that boy smiled.

'I wanted it too.. atleast I can have this as a memory'

"Here, take it. You can have it"
Chanyeol gave it to me. I couldn't believed. Did he read my mind or what?

"Thank you!!! But we can do one thing, I will Xerox it. Original one I will keep and other two you can have"

They agreed.

We soon reached to that site. Yes, a person was sitting and was singing a Bollywood Hindi song "Tum ho" from Rockstar.

We also made our way in that crowd and started listening him. Suho and Chanyeol started tapping their feet, as if they knew this song.

Suddenly I got an idea. As soon as his song ended, I went to that person and asked him for his guitar. I told them the tourist with me were good singers and I would be highly pleased if he gave them a chance to sang there. He smiled and said 'ok call them'.

They were quite surprised when I gave them the guitar.
More crowd started gathering around us. As they wanted to watch how these foreigners are going to sing. I asked them to sit.
Chanyeol took the guitar and Suho got ready.

They looked at me as if asking what to sing. "For life" I said.

They smiled and lowered their masks a little and started singing..

This life has twist and turns

That was one of my favourite exo song..plus it was in English too..they were singing in English.

It was as if everything else was paused and just two of them were there, singing.

Everyone was listening their song so peacefully. All were lost in their words, in their music.. as soon as they stopped the crowd shouted

"Once more once more..."
