Chapter 32 - First Date

"Arushi, let's go!! It's lunch time." Navi said that's when I came back from my  thoughts.

"You all go..I don't have appetite."

"Ohh come on.. what's this now!! Let's go! It will not take much time." Rakhi insisted.

"After that we will not get time, Please." Manisha said and they dragged me out of the hall.

After we had our lunch, it was our time to go back in the hall.

But those 3 said, "Let's go out for a while.. nothing will happen if we are late."

I didn't say anything and followed them. They were walking ahead of me. We reached near the gate, and they turned around and shouted, "Surprise"

I thought what's wrong with them. As they moved aside, there he was standing.. Chanyeol!!!!

I rubbed my eyes and looked again. He was still standing and smiling. I turned around to my friends, and they were also just smiling and said,

"Don't think too much. He is here for you. Go enjoy your day. Don't worry about anything. Just go."

With my misty eyes, I nodded my head with yes. As they left, I came out of the gate, there he was infront of my eyes. I ran towards him and hugged him. Tears were rolling down from my eyes.

"How could you do this to me? Not even once you picked up my calls! Not even once you allowed me to get to know how you are doing! I was so scared! I thought something bad was going to happen again" I cried like a small baby while complaining him.

He held me back and rubbed my hair, said,

"Poor baby!! Were you really missing me that much?"

"Of course!! Happy Birthday and..." I paused.

"And???" He was waiting for the answer.

"I....I have my answer now to the question you asked back then in Pune." I hesitated.

"And?" Chanyeol's eyes wide opened and he was looking straight into my eyes.

I closed my eyes immediately, and said,"I have finally realised my feelings for you.. that yes!! You are special to me..very very special..I always wait for your call..I wait to tell you everything about my day..I wait everyday to listen to you about your day..this wait really made me impatient and finally I realized that...I really like you a lot..in fact its more than liking now..I used to admire you like a fan but now... I think I...love you...!!!!"

After saying all these things I finally opened my eyes. I don't know how I did it or why I did it at that instant..I was shocked too by the way I blurted everything out. I wanted to hide my face now.
'What should I do now'

I looked at him, he was shocked. His smile disappeared and then I saw tears in his eyes too..

I stepped towards him. He embraced me this time and said,

"Thank you!! Thank you for accepting!! Thank you for waiting!! I can't express my happiness!! Just thank you" He said.

As we separated,

"Let's go on our first date" Chanyeol said happily.

"Date??"

"Yes!! Actually it was my treat but now it turned out to be our first date. So let's go." He held my hands, we looked at each other and smiled.

Soon we got a taxi. He said to take us to Leela Palace.

"But why there?? It's so expensive..no let's go somewhere else." I insisted to go somewhere else but he said that he had already reserved a table there. So I can't say anything next.

"But how you managed this time to come here? It must be tough for you" I had lots of questions in my mind.

"Not really..when you told me last time about your trip and I asked my manager for upcoming schedules. We were having a photoshoot in Dubai in the first week of November. But I requested them to reschedule it in last week so that I can manage to come here as well. So somehow things went according to me.. and here I am."

"What about that text? How did you know my location? Were my friends involved too?"

"I told them a day before texting you. They happily agreed. So they helped me to get here, book restaurant and all. I came to surprise you but instead you have me a big surprise. It's the happiest day!!"

My cheeks became red. I literally didn't plan to do it right away. It just came out suddenly.

"Please..stop embarrassing me now." That's all I could say.

"Araso" He laughed a bit.
"Don't be so shy!! I won't tell it to anyone."

He said and covered me inside his large overcoat. Then we talked about here and there till we reached the hotel. A beautiful interior with a beautiful table was ready.

When they came for the order, I asked them if they can provide us birthday cake too..they said yes. So our cake and orders were ready. We celebrated his birthday by cutting a small cake.

"But I don't have any gift for you." I felt bad for coming empty handed.

"You have already given me one."
As Chanyeol said.. I blushed.

After finishing our meal. We just planned what to do next as we had time till 8pm. Chanyeol had to return to airport by 8 as he had flight back to Dubai.

First we went to India gate. Of course, Chanyeol was covered fully from top to bottom. If by chance anyone can recognise him.

We roamed around like a couple. Holding hands, laughing, smiling occasionally teasing and yes that time, we took lots of selfies too. We made various small videos of each other. We wanted to capture every moment because we don't know when we will meet next time.

It was evening by then. Night started covering the sky. We reached near connaught place. It was a busy street. We were just roaming around when suddenly it started showering.

We started running toward a coffee cafe to protect ourselves from the rain, when I bumped into someone. That person was running too, in opposite direction.

"I'm sorry" I said.
Chanyeol came back, as he was a few steps ahead of me..held my hand and said sorry again to him. We were in a hurry that we didn't wait for his answer nor saw his face clearly.

As we turned around to move, I heard,
"Arushi"

I was shocked to hear my name, I looked behind and saw,

"Darsh"

I'm really sorry if I disappoint you in this chapter but that's now I ended..I wanted to make it simple, sweet yet romantic but don't know upto which extend I succeeded.
