Chapter 20 - Feelings

I gazed at my phone for a few seconds. I was shocked but in a happy way. Finally, he called. I stopped walking and answered the call.

"Hello Chanyeol"
"Hi Arushiii...hmm..how are you?"
"I'm good"

There was a pause..then I heard another voice from behind.
"Arushi"
"Suho, are you there too?"
"Yes!! Nice to hear your voice again."

"We are really sorry that we couldn't contact in between. You know when we returned, our company was ready with our tight schedule. We had to do some promotional events, some advertisement, some shows and all." Suho was explaining everything.

"We used to return to our dorm so late and had to wake up early again to go. We didn't get time for anything else. We used to talk about you but didn't call..we are really sorry." Suho said.

I was still listening very silently. Tears started rolling down my eyes.

"That's enough Hyung..it's my turn now." Chanyeol took the phone from Suho..I think they were on speaker.

"That's it from us. We are really sorry for not calling you earlier. Did you forgive us? Or we have to come back there to say sorry?" Chanyeol asked.

"No no..it's alright. I knew you were quite busy. So don't worry..I am alright." I replied wiping my tears.

I started heading towards my hostel.
"So what did you do in between?" Suho asked.

"I got admission in PhD here. I'm living in BHU now in hostel again."

"Wow!! Chukayae!!" They exclaimed.
"So how's your lab? How is everyone else there? Cooperative in nature? Are you still there?" Chanyeol showered his questions one by one.

"I'm just returning from lab. I still trying to adjust here. Everything is still new. It's good so far. And yes, everyone is cooperative. You know my senior Dev sir..he is also in my lab " By this time, I had already reached my hostel and was sitting in the garden, talking them on phone.

"Dev??? Hey wait..that guy..I don't like him but don't know the reason. Just stay away from him." Chanyeol shouted at the phone.

"Why?? What's wrong with him?" I asked calmly.
"I don't get good vibes from him" Chanyeol said hesitantly.

"Ohh come on! You have met him just once." I tried to explain him but..

"Don't worry about him. He is behaving in a childish manner." Suho said.

We talked for next 1hr about various random things. What we did in these days! Where they went! What funny incidents took place! All these things..I was laughing so hard that day..and yes after a long time..

Slowly we began a habit of talking over phones and texting on Watsapp. Everyday a good morning and a good night message was a must. As they were 3:30 hrs ahead of me..they used to text first. In between also, we texted each other.

But the thing was that..Suho was more frequent. We talked a lot more. We talked not only of our daily routine but also on some random topics like life and it's philosophy. Slowly, I learned that we have so many similarities with each other.

With Chanyeol..he was always in jolly mood. He used to share his funny incidents more. He never discussed any problem or anything like that. I enjoyed talking to him too..

But I guess..I started tilting towards Suho more..I started liking him as a person. The more I talked the more I was falling for him.

While returning back to hostel, we usually talk on phone. Suho used to tell what he did the whole day, what they had for dinner, what other members were doing and all those stuff. I used to tell him, how I was dealing with my lab problems, when my professor shouted at me, when my senior talked rudely, what I did next and all those things.

Many times Chanyeol called too but I was already busy on calls with Suho. By the time, we end, it was too late to call back him. So mostly I used to call Chanyeol in my lunch break. He used to pick it up the call no matter how busy he was at that time. If not received, he used to call right after some time. But at night, I wasn't able to receive his calls.

Two months passed. I was following the same routine. As far as, I and Suho were concerned, we already knew each other feelings. But no one was confessing. We were happy in the way, we were.

By then, our friends already knew that we have been developing something. We were often teased too. My friends used to tease me a lot. And with Suho, other exo members used to poke him too. They caught us talking late at night many times.

I started receiving less phone calls from Chanyeol. I didn't noticed it much and never minded. Whenever Suho was busy and he was not getting any time to call me, he used to convey it through Chanyeol. So whenever I got calls from Chanyeol, I knew that Suho was busy that day or for a number of days.

It was like an uncommitted long distance relationship.. I was happy with my that phase of life but it didn't last for long..
